I was in a dark room. There was nothing, no food, water, people. I was sitting on a bed crying. Begging for someone to save me. Then my dad opened a door. (Her real dad) His arms wide open. I ran to him, he stood there but as I ran it felt like he was getting further and further away. Finally I reached him. I hugged him but when I touched him he disappeared. I turned around to see Harrison. His hand out as to pull me in. As I touched him I felt pain in my chest. I fell to my knees. My chin was lifted by Daniel "I'll always be here" he whispered. I jolted awake, my heart was pounding and tears were on my face. That was a horrible nightmare. I felt an arm around me. I turned to see Daniel. Wait! Daniel took me when I fell asleep? He was still asleep. He was warm. I hugged him. I felt safe. "Good morning." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes. I remembered the dream. I started to cry at the thought that my dad was still alive. "Are you okay?" Daniel asked. I hugged him tighter. "Promise me you won't leave" I asked. "What?" He was confused. "Just like all the men in my life" I cried. He kissed my forehead. "I promise, I'll always be here" I felt safe in his arms. Stop Ellie! A voice inside my head was saying. You will not have history repeat itself. "Hello!" Daniel said snapping me back to reality. "Let's go make breakfast" he said. All the boys were still asleep. We made pancakes. I reread Logans texts to me. I still couldn't believe that my dad was alive. There was a pit in my stomach, I feel like punching and hugging him at the same time. "What did Logan want?" Daniel asked. "I told you yesterday, nothing" I said. "Ellie! I can tell when your lying" Daniel laughed. "Daniel, do you want me to be happy?" I asked. "Of course Ellie" he said. "Then please drop it" Daniel looked shocked. Logan texted.
Logan🤘🏻- Look I know you're at the boys house. Please come home
Me- no, you hurt them.
Logan🤘🏻- I'm sorry, Daniel set me off. You need to confront this issue.
Me- No, he'll just leave again eventually. No reason in bringing him back into my life.
Logan🤘🏻- he's pleaded to my mom that you talk to him
Me- good, now he can feel horrible for what he did
Logan🤘🏻- you are almost 18! Grow up and talk to your dad!
Me- HES NOT MY DAD! JEREMY IS MY DAD.
Logan🤘🏻- you know as well as I do that James Havens is your dad
Me- Say that name one more time Logan. I dare you.
Logan🤘🏻- if you don't talk to him, I'll fly him out here
Me- you wouldn't dare
Logan🤘🏻- watch me
Me- this is why Jake is the better brother! He wouldn't hurt me like this! He would understand what that bastard did and understand why I can't speak to him!

I threw my phone. "Woah! Are you okay?" Daniel asked concerned. I felt like I couldn't breathe. "I need some time!" I ran outside. I fell to my knees and cried. Daniel ran outside. He handed me my phone that was ringing. It was a random number.

Holy shit, Logan I swear I will kill you. I ran inside. The boys were awake and eating pancakes. "Who is ready to drive? Like right now?" Jonah volunteered. "Where to?" He asked buckling his seat belt. "Jakes, and drive quick." I said. We pulled up at Jakes house to see a solid black car. That doesn't belong to anyone in Team 10... the door was cracked open. "Hello?" I called out. "Anyone home?" Jonah yelled. It was unsettling how quiet it was. I walked into the office, horrified at what laid in front of me.
