I just want to start this by saying how thankful I am to have y'all. I don't know where I'd be without yalls kind words and support. I never expected one of my stories to even get to 100. So for my story to get 2k reads means a lot. I want to thank all of you. I promised that I'd do something special for 2k so I will be posting a new story I've been working on. DONT WORRY! Tell me is continuing per usual. My other story will just be updated every now and then when I have time. It's more of a personal fanfic, meaning it's about me and all my friends. I wanted to stay like this forever. This perfect moment with Jonah. Then we heard the front door. We heard talking and realized that the boys were home. "Yo, what's with the fancy dinner stuff?" I heard Zach ask. "Shit!" Jonah whispered. "We'll have to make an excuse" We walked down stairs acting as casual as possible. "What's all this for?" Daniel asked the boys. They all noticed us coming downstairs. "Oh, never mind. I know exactly what it's for" he said crossing his arms. "Ok, Get over it Daniel! We discussed this!" Jonah said. "Yeah like that means I just drop all feelings for her?" He responds. I walked away. "Ellie, wait!" Jonah said. I ignored it. I went outside. What's more normal than a girl in a red dress standing outside at 2AM? "Wait" Jonah said. "What do you want?" I snapped. "What's wrong?" He asked sincerely. "You two bicker over me like 5 year olds! I feel like an object that y'all can't stop fighting for. I don't like it" I said. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like that." He said. He hugged me. "I love you, Jonah. I know that this band means a lot to you. So if us being together ends your friendship with Daniel then maybe we shouldn't." I said. "What? No! Daniel just really liked you and he has trouble getting over it, he'll come around" he reassured. "ok, if you say so" I said. He kissed my forehead. My phone buzzed.

Logan🤘🏻- hey, you up?
Me- yeah, whatsup?
Logan🤘🏻- we need to talk
Me- we did already.
Logan🤘🏻- Ellie
Me- if this is about my dad
Logan🤘🏻- he's on his way out here.
Me- WHAT THE FUCK LOGAN!
Logan🤘🏻- you'll thank me later
Me- doubt it.
Read 2:34AM

"Fuck all this!" I raged. "What's up?" Jonah asked. "It's my-" I stopped remembering that I couldn't explain my past. "Logans being a dick, don't worry about it." I said. "I feel like you're hiding something" he said suspiciously. "Ok, so now we have trust issues?" I asked. "No! I didn't mean it like that! It's-" he was cut off. "Okay, sorry to interrupt this but it's 2:30AM and y'all should probably keep it down because we're trying to sleep" Corbyn said. Anna Lee right behind him. We nodded and headed to bed. "Look I love you Jonah, why would I hide anything." I said. Jonah nodded and we laid down.

Logans POV the next morning

His plane should be landing soon. I'm actually kinda nervous. I mean he is a dick head that left a 5 year old to start anew, but I don't know. Part of me thinks he wants to change his ways. Ellie won't forgive him so I have to force them together. Hopefully things will work out. I got a text.
James- so where do I go?
Me- just Uber here. The address is (insert address)
James- 👍
I hope Ellie will be able to forgive me. I reread the texts from last night. Maybe, maybe not. About an hour later there was a knock on the door. I opened it to see a tall man with white hair and grey stubble. He had hazel eyes just like Ellie. He wore black glasses. He had on a brown coat black pants and dress shoes. He's very cleaned up. I called Ellie.

I hung up. "She'll be here soon" I told him. He nodded and took a seat on the couch. "So, what's the whole deal with you and her?" He asked me. "Well after you left she went into multiple foster homes, throughout Ohio. Me and my brother Jake have been taking care of her since that day. She moved out here recently." I explained. He rest his head in his hands. "Wow. I'm a jerk" he said. "I abandoned my only child" he said pulling a tissue out of his jacket pocket. "Well I mean you were drunk, right?" I asked. "Yeah but, after I got with Sarah- I mean, some woman. I chose not to go back for her. Knowing Evelyn was still there." He said. "FYI don't call her Evelyn." I said. He looked confused. "Her favorite foster parents, she likes to say that their her parents, called her Ellie and that's what everyone thinks her name is" I said. "I just hope shell forgive my sins and take me as her father again" he said. I felt bad. He seems genuinely sorry for what he did. There was a knock. "Come in!" I yelled. It was Ellie. "Who is this?" She asked. "I'm J-" I cut James off. "It's Jerald! Old friend of mine" I said. "Looks a little to old to be an old friend of yours" she said suspiciously. "Rude much?" I asked. She gave me 'the look'. It's a look she likes to give me that basically means cut the bullshit, what's really happening. "Ok then" she started. "How'd you two meet?" She said. "Uh" we both went blank. 'The look' piercing through my body as we struggled to make up a story. "He was Pam's friend" I said. "And then he just became yours?" She asked sarcastically. "Cut the bullshit Logan!" She said. "Now young lady, language!" James snapped. "Careful old man. Don't talk to me like you're my da-" she stopped. She turned to me. "Is this-?" She asked. I slowly nodded, giving up on my plan to hide it. She turned around and left, slamming the door behind her.
