The footage

So while I was gone these past few days we managed to get 500 reads!! That's crazy!! I love y'all so much, this first contest is still going on, don't forget to enter. Enjoy this chapter.

Flash back,  4 years ago (this is around the time that the whole Jonah thing happened, her age rn is 14)

I snuck out of my bedroom window, luckily at this home my room was on the first floor. I saw Jake waiting in the grass. "So what did we need to meet at 2AM for?" I smiled and I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the spot in the woods. "Look!" I said. We usually sit under this one big tree and look at the stars. "Fred (her foster dad at the time) just put this in today!" I pointed to a wooden swing for two. We sat on it and slowly swung while looking at the stars. "This is beautiful" Jake said. "I know, I love this spot, I can really escape everything" I said. "So did you take me back here because of Harrison?" He asked. My smile slowly faded. "Things are complicated Jake. I don't like it" I said. "Break up with the fucker!" Jake snapped. Jake really hates Harrison. "As much as I would love to, I just can't" I said. "Why! Will he not let you!" He snapped making a fist. "Easy! You're turning into Logan!" I said. He stopped when I said that. "Yes, I have been thinking about ending things with Harrison. But even though he's done shit, he still finds a way to make me happy" I said. Jake looked confused. "Yes, he's a bad person and he does a lot of bad things. But whenever something happens, he supports me and makes me feel like someone cares" I said. "I care!" Jake said. "I know Jake, but you don't go to our school. You make vines, please Jake. Please understand why I do things" I asked him. He nodded. Jake put his arm around me. I fell asleep in his arms. I woke up to sun in my eyes. I yawned and saw Jake was asleep his arms still around me. I then realized we were still out on the swing. "Fuck!" I said. Jake woke up and looked at the time. "10:30" he said. I was worried. "I was supposed to meet Harrison at 9!!" I said. "Why, it's a Saturday." Jake asked. "Study group" I did air quotes. "You lied to Fred and Beatrice?" He asked. "Their probably off doing drugs again, he build this swing because I caught him cheating and he built this to keep me from telling Beatrice" I said. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him back to my house. We walked around front and I saw a pissed Harrison at the steps. "Where the fuck have you been?" He snapped. "I lost track of time" I said. "Why the fuck were you with this fuck?" He said. "Jake Paul?" He asked disgusted. " I'm sorry, Harry. But-" I got cut off by him slapping me. I fell to the ground. Jake punched him in the face. "Stop!" I yelled. They both looked at me concerned. "I'm so sorry babe!" He said trying to pick me up. Jake punched him again. "Really fucker? You slap her and then you try to act all innocent?!" Jake snapped. Harrison slung me up and pulled me to his car. Harrison was strong so I couldn't fight it. He threw me into the passenger seat, then he drove off. I saw Jake chasing the car for a while but he eventually ran out of breath.

End of flash back. Back to present day

Me and Jonah walked into the office. I looked at the floor to see a semi broken vlog camera, you couldn't film but you could review footage. I realized it was Jakes vlog camera. There was a note next to the camera

My dearest Ellie,
I see you around, don't think you've escaped me. You may have tried to leave that day, but you will come back. I mean you did today to find this. Watch your back

I opened the camera to see footage of me at the WDW house. "What the fuck?" I whispered. Jonah looked over my shoulder. "What the" he said. There was some footage of me arriving with Daniel. There was footage of me running outside with Jonah when Logan was there. There was footage of through the window when I was chasing the boys. There was footage of Jack picking me up when I fell. There was even footage of me and Jonah sleeping. It was shot from inside the room. "WHAT THE FUCK?" I screamed when that came up. "How did Jake get in the house?" Jonah asked. "You think it was Jake?" I asked. "The note said, you came back to find this, were in his house. Why else would the footage be on his camera? And why isn't Jake here?" He pointed out. I flipped the note to see more writing.

I love you Ellie. I always have. I know who you love, I will take them out one by one. Starting with you're so called brother.....

Logan

I started crying. "We have to go to Logans! Now!" I cried. "What if Jake is there already! We don't want him hurting you!" Jonah said. "I'm not letting Jake kill Logan!" I snapped. "I thought I could trust Jake.... I guess not" I said in disappointment. We hopped in the car. "Drive to Logans!" I said. Jonah looked worried but he listened. We started to his place

I am soooo sorry for no chapters these past few days. Thursday I was preparing for the weekend. Our first Drum Corp show was Friday. I got home at about 2AM and I went straight to bed. I had to be back at practice at 10AM so we could leave again for another show. I got home about 2AM again and went straight to bed. It's about noon on Sunday so I decided to write. There was no wifi on the charter bus so I couldn't update. If there was I would've. I was going to write and have them ready to upload today but I sat with a really nosey kid that kept reading over my shoulder so I didn't. I start Band Camp tomorrow so chapters will be really late during the week, for the next 2 weeks and late on weekends for Drum Corp practice. So sorry, but they will come out. Every now and then there will be a mini flash back to a point in her life. They may seem out of place but they have importance. Read this one several times and then you'll realize why it fits with this chapter. They will most likely be at the beginning of chapters. So since I was gone this week I am still accepting entries to the contest. I have one entry so if I get no more by Wednesday then they automatically win. Love y'all ❤️
