Jane's POV

There she is.  Beautiful face, hair down, eyes shining, elbows on table.  Nothing could compare to the amount of beauty Iris carries with her - inside and out.

"How are you?" She asked me and I sort of froze.  Suddenly, I feel nervous and scared to talk around her.  Like if I say the wrong thing, I could ruin everything.

"Good, how 'bout you?" I normally responded, making her reply with the same answer.  I looked down at my hands in my lap and went all shy.

"You're really cute when you're shy." She said and made me blush.  I giggled and she took my hand in hers.

"Maybe we can start with getting to know each other?" Iris suggested and I nodded.  She took my hand and pulled me out of my booth seat.  I followed her to the bathroom and didn't know where this was going.

"Don't panic." She said and quickly pushed me against the sink counter.  Her lips were pressed to mine and I couldn't do anything to stop it.  Not that I wanted to, but I didn't see it coming.

We both got sucked into the kiss and she put her hands on the back of my thighs.  She lifted me onto the counter until I completely sat atop of it.  Iris put her body between my legs and I hooked them around her waist.  Her gentle hands roped around my waist and the kiss got deeper.  Suddenly, she was biting my bottom lip and her tongue was almost down my throat.  It's sounds disgusting and so dirty, but I was enjoying every moment of it.

"I need a breath." She said as she released her lips from mine.  I put my hands on her shoulders and looked her straight in the eye.  Once our eyes met, we went into a fit of giggles.

"I've never gotten to know someone like that." I said and put my forehead against hers.  I bit my bottom lip as we continued to smile and giggle, amusing each other.

"The talking can come later." She said and we pressed our lips together again.  The feeling of Iris' lips on mine is complete euphoria.  My stomach flutters, my heart skips a beat, my hands get tingly.

"I could do this all day." Iris said as we spilt apart again.

"I would do this all day if it weren't for that burger on the menu calling my name." I said and she giggled.  She helped me down from the sink and held my hand as we walked out to the diner.

"Shall we?" Iris helped me into the booth and then sat down herself.  We both unfolded our menus and looked through the selection.

"You were right, definitely the burger." She said and we both giggled.  We put our menus down and a waiter came over.  It surprised me when she ordered for me and remembered exactly what I told her I wanted.

"Thanks." I said as the waiter walked away and left us.  She looked up at me and smiled and I fell even deeper for her.

"What's you're favorite color?" Iris looked at me and I wondered why she asked.

"I love a dark-purplish-blue color.  What's yours?" I said, thinking about the night sky.  I've never really had a favorite color, but blue and purple reminds me of the sky and stars at night, so why not?

"Green, like a pastel one." She answered and somehow I knew that it was green.  Something about her eyes tells me all her stories.
