"So, how have you been?" Olivia asked Jane as they sat down for their Friday session.

"I've been alright." Jane smiled, reflecting on the week she's had. They caught up with each other for a bit, talking about random stuff they've done throughout the week.

"Have you studied for your test?" Olivia asked and Jane excitedly nodded. It's her first test with Olivia and, weirdly, she's excited.

"Yes, I'm ready," Jane said as she took her pencil out, ready to go.

"Want to get it out the way now?" Olivia asked, willing to wait until the end to have her take it.

"Yes, please." Jane politely said and watched Olivia place the maths test in front of her.

"Good luck!" Olivia said and opened her computer to busy herself while Jane takes the test. The teen read the first problem and easily answered it.

This should be easy.

"Good job today, sweetheart," Olivia said as she hugged Jane and then walked out the front door. The teen waved her teacher off and then shut and locked the door.

"Mumma!" Jane ran around to the kitchen and saw Kimberley making her a sandwich for lunch "I got an A on the test!" Jane excitedly said and hugged her mother's waist. Kimberley smiled, loving how proud Jane is of herself.

"Good job, baby!" Kimberley gave Jane kisses on her cheek, proud to see her daughter exceeding.

"Is this for me?" Jane asked as she pointed to the sandwich, getting a nod from Kimberley.

"Come sit." The mother walked her daughter over to the island's bar and sat her on the stool.

"You know, I've never had someone make lunch for me," Jane said and looked at her mother for a second.

"What do you mean?" She asked as she tilted her head as she began to stroke the teen's hair.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is...I've never had anyone who cared for me like you do." Jane blushed, nervous to talk about the topic of her past "You're the only one who's ever loved me this much," Jane emphasized the amount of love she's received.

"Someone loved you once?" Kimberley said, reading between the lines of Jane's words.

"Yeah...but not as...extreme," Jane mentioned, thinking about her past foster parents.

"Is my love too extreme?" Kimberley asked, worried that her daughter was telling her to back off a bit.

"No, it's amazing, I love it!" Jane said, not wanting to deny her mother's love "I love you." She said and Kimberley saw a special sparkle in her eye. Jane smiled, leaning into her mother's side and kissing her cheek.

"I love you too, Jane." Kimberley fully put her arms around Jane and kissed her cheek obnoxiously.

"Why don't you go up and change out of your school clothes," Kimberley said, wanting the teen to relax after her hard working.

"Okay!" Jane bounced up and headed up the stairs. When she went to her room, she changed into some athletic shorts and a sweatshirt - her perfect comfy clothes.

Jane went downstairs and saw that the sun seemed to be out.  She walked outside, feeling that it's not too bed then ran upstairs to get her paint.  One thing Jane loves more than anything is painting outside, it creates a beautiful creativity flow in her mind.
