Athenaeum University: Learning to be a Detective (HIATUS)

Chapter 1

Nang tumigil na ang bus na sinasakyan ng mga estudyante, pinapunta agad sila sa isang malaking hall na nagsisilbing entrance ng school. Ang hall ay napakalaki, ang tatlong sides nito ay gawa sa bullet proof na salamin, ngunit kung gabi na ay automatic na bumababa ang metal (bulletproof din) wall upang walang makakita sa kung ano ang naroroon sa loob.

Pagdating nila sa hall ay umupo na sila sa mga upuan at nakinig sa babaeng nagsasalita sa stage.

"Good Morning and Welcome to Athenaeum University my dear freshmen students!! Before you proceed to your respective rooms, you must meet and listen first to our headmistress, Mademoiselle Minerva. ." 

Nagpalakpakan ang mga estudyante nang tawagin na ang kanilang headmistress. May pumasok na isang matangkad na babae na nasa mid 20's, maputi, at medyo maganda naman, kaso mukhang istrikto at nakakatakot. 

"Bonjour everyone, I am Mademoiselle Minerva, just like what she said earlier, the headmistress of this school. There things that I want you to know before you start staying here. First of all, No Favoritism, our school don't allow such thing here. We want fair treatment for every student here in our university. Second, just because it is said that you will be trained here to become an agent, that doesn't mean that you will be required to learn every martial arts and self defense. As we all know, not all people here are physically fit, some are thin and sickly while some are fat. So you have to choose a PE subject based on what you can do. But we still encourage the fitness of the students. Third, you must follow the Code of Conducts of our university. And the last and the most important thing to remember, you have to survive. You are exactly 100 students now in your batch and I am telling you there are only 10-15 students that last at the end of the school year, so you must prove yourselves to us. Again Bonjour and Bienvenue to Athenaeum University!!" 

Bumaba na ng stage si Mademoiselle Minerva at naiwan ang mga estudyanteng tulala at nag iisip ng gagawin nila. Lahat sila ay kinakabahan sa sinabi ng headmistress. 

Sapphire's POV 

10-15??

Seryoso ba sya? Eh kung irarank nga ata kaming 100 na nakapasa sa exam eh pinakamababa ako.. Pero totoo naman, nung nilabas ung ranking saktong nasa 100 ako. Pano na lang yung mga pangarap ko kapag di ako nakatagal dito. Slow ako sa math at english. Science at Social science na lang ang pag asa ko tapos di ko pa master ung mga yun.. Oh God naman oh, mukhang 1st quarter palang kicked out na ako.. 

"Students may I have your attention please. Beside me is Mr. Blake Asuncion. He will lead you to the IQ test room."  

May nagsalita bigla tapos tinuro nya ung katabi nya.. infairness gwapo si Kuya. pero wait, tama ba yung narinig ko?? IQ Test?? mag eexam kami? First day pa lang ah..

 Third Person's POV 

Dinala sila ni Blake sa may IQ Test Room at sya na din ang nag orient sa kanila. 

"A few minutes from now, you are going to take your IQ Test. We are doing this para madetermine namin kung paanong hati ang gagawin namin sa inyo. Those people with higher IQ's ay ihihiwalay and mas mahirap ng unti ang topics ninyo. Unfair kasi kung makakasama nyo ung iba that have only Average or Normal IQ level dahil mas mapapabilis ang pag intindi nyo. And another one, if you are valedictorian, salutatorian or you are good in academics in your former school, forget about it. Iba ang curriculum ng Athenaeum, its more about logical reasoning. Thats why I think, studying here is better. Sa other school kasi basta masaulo mo at magreview ka papasa ka, here it’s about your commen sense. So Freshies... get ready, just answer the questions honestly and as much as possible wag manghula." 

Naupo na ang mga estudyante sa tapat ng mga computer. At sabay sabay nagflash sa screen ng mga ito ang unang tanong.
