Sapphire's POV

Katulad nga ng sinabi ni Ms. Anna,nagstart ang klase namin.

Ms. Anna: "Tutal naman nasa Class A kayo at code breaking ang topic natin, I want you to answer few questions. This will serve as our lesson since wala naman talagang formality sa pag-aaral ng code breaking. And as my first question---" nagsulat si Ms. Anna sa board:

"Now class, who among you can decrypt that message. I am telling you, that's the easiest type of code."

Ano namang sinisymbolize nun?

Oh, ang shunga ko.. edi letters..

If it is true then the answer would be... Gotcha!! Yes, makapagtaas na nang kamay.

Magtataas na sana ako kaso biglang

"Yes Hy.. your answer is correct. Class, did you also answer it correctly."

Pshhh.. nasagutan na pala. Buti na lang at di ako nagtaas ng kamay ng tuluyan, mapapahiya lang ako.

"The answer is Julius Caesar. For those who didn't get it, let me explain it for you. The number represents the letters depending on their order in the alphabet. The number 1 stands for A, 2 for B, 3 for C... so on and so forth."

Ang dali lang ng puzzle pero ang bagal ko pa rin. Pinakamadali na to pero ang tagal ko, pano pa kaya yung mahihirap. I'm hopeless.. T_T

"And since I already gave you the easiest lesson, I will give you now the easiest assignment in my class this year.. hahaha. Try to decode this one class."

Nagsulat ulit si Ms. Anna sa board. Binigyan pa nya talaga kami ng assignment ha.

"And dahil mabait and maganda akong professor, I will give you a hint. The kind of code used there is related to the answer earlier. Goodluck students! And better wait for your next teacher."

Next subject is Logical Reasoning... puputok na ang utak ko nito. Grabe ka author, don't torture me. Bakit magkasunod pa yung dalawang subject na yun.

May pumasok na isang magandang babae sa may pinto kaya naman ang mga classmates ko na hindi ko pa nakikilala, nagsitahimik.

"Bonjour! I am Ms. Ramos, and I will be your teacher in Logical Reasoning. But before we start I want to tell you that I will try my best to make this subject exciting. Di din ako masyadong magtuturo, you don't need lectures here because in this subject you will ne the one to teach yourselves. Kung mag eeffort kayo, may matututunan kayo, and kung hindi, there's none. After all, common sense lang ang gamit dito."

Wala ngang lecture, puro sasagutan naman.. Oh God, mabait naman akong nilalang di ba?

"You must start studying different facts because that can help you here in my subject. Ok, lets try some questions, if you know the answer just raise your hand and state your name. First question, why does the lid of the wells and sewers are circle instead of square?"

Bakit bilog, may reason pa pala yun..

Tinawag ni Ms. Ramos yung kaklase kong payat na lalaking nakasalamin.

"Reyes, John. The reason behind it is that if they are round, they will not fall into the sewer or the well unlike the square. The square will fall because its diagonal is longer than its sides."

"Thats right Mr. Reyes. Second question, There are two mothers and two daughters that entered the restaurant. However, they are able to occupy only three seats. How did it happened?"

Tumingin ako sa classmates ko, nag iisip sila, ako naman ito, nakatingin at nag aantay ng sasagot. After 5 minutes, nagtaas ng kamay si Alex.

"Just call me Alex, Miss. My answer is that there are only three people who entered the restaurant, the grandmother, mother and the daughter. The grandmother and mother are both mother while the mother and the daughter are both daughter. Is it correct, Ms. Ramos?"

"Yes, its correct Alex. Well you deserved to be in this section, mabilis nyong nasasagot. Yung iba sa inyo, medyo natetense lang. Wag kayong kabahan or matakot, di naman kayo papayatin kung mali or wala kayong maisagot. Ok, this one serves as last. If ever na walang makasagot, its an assignment."

Assignment again? Classmates please sagutan nyo.

"Which is heavier, a pound of gold or a pound of feather. Then explain why."

Nagtaas ng kamay yung lalaking tawa ng tawa kanina na puno ng corny jokes.

"Call me Gwaps... Miss, its chicks. They have the same weight. Pareho po silang pounds."

"What Miss? Wrong? Then the feather must be heavier?

"Yup, the feather is heavier then why. Clue, there is a difference on how they are made."

Lumipas ang 30 minutes nang walang nakakasagot sa tanong ni Miss. Mukha atang may 2nd assignment kami nito ah...

"Ok class. Just tell me your answer tomorrow. Try to search about Troy gold, that can help you in getting the answer."

Mapapagoogle search pa ako mamaya ah.. Dinismiss na kami ni Ms. Ramos. Tapos dumiretso na kami nila Belle ng canteen dahil abot langit na ang gutom namin.
