Get behind the wheel & just be free.

Take that first step,

Spread your wings, it's time to soar.

Out on your own;

The world is wide; it's your time to shine!

Plot your own course,

This life is yours so take it for a drive.

Because life is a journey, full of twists and turns.

Unexpected speedbumps, ditches, and detours.

You may not know where you're going,

You may get lost from time to time.

But take a look around,

Don't just let it pass you by.

Meet the people that you find,

Get to know their stories.

You may find a friend or two

For when you're feeling lonely.

In the lane next to you,

Driving side by side for a while.

When soon you'll look, and they'll have gone,

Took a different turn the last few miles.

Yes, there's going to be some heartaches,

Sometimes your tires just go flat.

And you're not sure if you can move on,

But you know you can't turn back.

But remember your spares, your pump,

The lessons you were taught.

Soon you're back on your way, much quicker than you thought.

You'll make mistakes; you'll fail now and then.

But just as often, you'll find your way,

I know you'll make it through.

And once the sun sinks below the sky,

You'll look back and see how far you've come.

Those unexpected turns that brought you where you are,

You've grown so much since first you sat

In the front seat of that car.

Inspired by all you've accomplished,

You'll look ahead with hope.

Buckle the seat belt and you're off again

To face the world unknown.
