Chapter 3: The figure

Camila's pov

"Dude, I seriously hate crickets," Normani says annoyed coming into the kitchen. "They kept me up all night with their stupid chirping," she says grabbing a plate, as piper put eggs, toast and bacon on it.

"You too!" Demi said eating. "I thought I was the only one"

"Well, we do live in the woods what do you expect to hear?" I sarcastically laughed drinking my orange juice. In return, I got grumbling from the table.

"Mila you have a nice house in suburbs" Ally points out to me.

"Yea that's right," Dinah said.

"Oh yea I guess you're right," I say. I had forgotten about my family after everything that has happened to me. "I wonder how they're doing?"

"If you want we can stop by your house after school," Lauren said coming up behind me wrapping her hands around my waist. "It's up to you"

"Really!?" I asked enthusiastic, turning around in her arms.

"Yea, whatever you want" so happy that I can go see my family I gave her a sweet kiss.

"Did I ever tell you I love you?"

"Tell me again" she whispered with a little smile.

"I love you" I whispered cutely at her, before kissing her oh sweet lips.

"If you guys don't mind we're trying to eat here," Demi says. "And I wanna keep my mom's delicious breakfast down"

"Thank you, sweetie"

"Oh whatever," I said removing Lauren's arms from around me.

"Guys! Come on hurry up or you'll be late" Anthony says throwing his dishes and everybody else's in the sink. "You know it's funny because I'm twenty-one and I'm the child yet I'm telling my parents to go to school" he joked laughing at us, making everyone snicker at us as well.

"Haha, and it's funny because even though we still go to school, we're still your parents and can easily kick your ass," Lauren said all seriousness now gone. When Anthony saw the mood change in Lauren's voice he immediately stopped laughing. "Don't overstep the boundaries, kid?" she says walking past him messing up his hair.

"Mom" he whined after her. "She messed up my hair," he said annoyed.

"Here, come here baby," Ally says trying to help him. Anthony crouched down to be on her level as she fixed his hair. "All better now"

"Thanks, Ally," he said going in for a kiss till she stopped him.

"Morning breath"

"I don't care," he says going in for a kiss again.

"But I do," she said running away probably going to the bathroom.

"I'll get that kiss!!" He yelled out. "What?" He asked once saw me looking at him.

"You love her, don't you?"

"Yea, I do. She knows what we all are but she still chose to be here with us and be my girlfriend" he said leaning on the sink. "She's the one mom"

"I know," I tell him walking away. "Just don't go breaking her heart, she's still my best friend"

"I can't believe I'm back here," I say looking up at the house that I was raised in feeling scared. "It feels like I don't even belong here anymore," I tell Lauren hearing laughter and chatter from the inside. "We should just go," I say about to walk away until Lauren grabbed my hand.

"Camz, don't be scared, I'm right here with you," she tells me. "Ok, these people love and care for you. So, once they see you I'm sure they're going be happy to see their baby again"
