Anthony's pov

I was walking around the woods trying to clear my head of the events that happen in the last twenty-four hours. After my mom's told me I had to apologize to Ally due to my behaviour, I stumbled out of the house trying to catch her scent. Once I did, I found myself standing on her porch scared to knock. What if she slaps me? Or what if she slams the door in my face? Or what if she does both?

Though I didn't even have to worry about it because she did neither, she didn't open the door. I knew she was on the other side because I heard her heartbeat but yet she did nothing. I don't blame her though. Today was a new day and I was getting ready to go apologies once again. Dinah however told me to just leave her alone, which is surprising since she hasn't talked to me in days well hours. But yet again here I stand outside of her house looking at her front door.

I was gonna knock but I chickened out walking away. I was a few blocks away from her house, thinking about what a big chicken and coward I was well been.

Camila's pov

"Lo?" I say coming into her and piper's study/office. Lately, Lauren has been locked up in this room trying to figure out a way where we don't have to go to war with the blood born, so we all won't die in the process. Though from the looks of it, I could tell she is still in a dilemma. "Why don't you take a break?" I offered her to come in more.

"Camz, I can't take a break right now," she says not looking up.

"Don't forget to look" I joked trying to at least make her glance my way. "Congratulations, you played yourself" I chuckled but still Lauren didn't budge.

"Camz, I don't have time to play games right now with you ok," she says finally looking at me, running a frustrated hand through her hair. "I need to concentrate and think of a way for us not to go to war with the blood born, while also thinking of a plan if it comes to war. Because I'm not giving up my dad. He and Mal are all I have left" she shares with me. "And although I didn't give her a chance before, Malia is my sister, alright she's my family"

I took a seat in front of her, grabbing her hands.

"I know," I say squeezing her hands.

"Heh, I remember all of the memories we shared. Malia was supposed to be there to help me with my first transformation. She promised me that. And-and When  She went hunting, Mal would share her food with me since I wasn't allowed to go in the woods" she let out a chuckled that made me smile. "We did everything together when we were younger," she says with watery eyes as memories came flooding back.

"Where you there when they took her?" I timidly asked her. Lauren nodded.

"Kris hid me in a hole in the wall covering it up with a picture. I was hearing screams and yelling that was getting louder by the minute. I heard things breaking, glass being thrown. I was gonna stay there like Kris had told me to but my curiosity got the best of me. I ran into the living room seeing Derek walking away with Malia" I could tell how much it pained her to relive the memory. "I cried out for her but she didn't hear me, which made sense because it was muffled by Kris's hand"

I had let a tear fall down my face, hearing the story.

"Heh, she was supposed to make me a better wolf than her" Lauren said with a sad smile.

"Alright, c'mon let's come up with a new plan then," I say moving away from her, going to the books and stuff. "I lost my family same as you, but you actually have a chance to be with yours again so c'mon let's get to looking," I say flipping through the pages.
