Chapter 5: Meeting

Lauren's pov

"He's my dad," I say cutting him off. Everybody looked at each other surprised, while my dad smiled and waved at us.

"What? This is your dad?" Camila asked me surprised. I slowly nodded leaning up against the wall that was behind me.

"He's my grandpa?" Anthony asked coming by me, looking at my dad. "He doesn't look like anything how I imagined he would be" Anthony whispered to us while still watching him.

"You have a very.. interesting choice of shelter," he says wiping his fingers across the old wood collecting dust. "I see you get that from your old man" he joked looking at me as I stood there still shocked to see him.

"Um, Mr Jauregui sir?" Dinah said grabbing his attention.

"Oh, please call me Peter," he tells her.

"Heh, well Peter," she says testing it out. "I would just like to thank you for helping me bring back my girlfriend," Dinah said as she pulled Normani to her, wrapping her arm around her.

"It was no problem," he says smiling fondly at the two. "You just make sure to never let her go again"

"I know"

"Um.. sorry but if I may ask what are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be dead?" Camila boldly questioned. "How did you survive?"

"Ha, oh I remembered why I was always so fond of you Camren," he said walking to her.

"You do?"

"Yes, you were always so very bold and always straight to the point" he explains. "But yes, I am supposed to be dead, but that callous wife of mine was never really good at leaving me for dead," he tells us, sitting down next to piper, who slowly moved to the other side of the couch.

"What do you mean?"

"Kris, instead of killing him like the rest.. saved him?" I finished stating it more like a question whether than a statement.

"Bingo," he says clicking his tongue. "I was lying there bleeding out trapped in the house as it was burning. I thought for sure I was a goner but then the next thing I know I'm being dragged out of the house. Passed out, but when I woke up I was in the woods, had bandages on my ribs" he tells us lifting his shirt showing us burn marks of where his skin had been burnt.

"Why did she just leave you, knowing you would come after her?" Camila then asked sitting across from him.

"Ahh, I wonder that same thing, but Kris wiped me clean. I was a lost and confused man in the woods who had no memories of what happened. I was no longer a wolf either. I guess she took that away from me before she left me because it was a full moon that night and nothing happened"

"Like father like daughter" Dinah whispered laughing to Normani and Ally, making them all laugh.

"Are you one now?" Anthony then asked.

"Yes," he answered.

"How?" Demi asked.

"On my journey here I met an alpha. We bonded and she bit me, though I was only an omega. However, I got into a bit of a problem with a few other wolves, when I came to them for help" after I had an accident with a car and some guns"

"Help? Why what happened?" Camila asked him.

"I..let's just I had an accident with a car and some guns and was pretty messed up, to say the least. Anyway, these wolves are much stronger than the average. Anyway, the younger sister helped me, but her family didn't like it. So when they found out I was scared because this is a family that you don't want to upset. So, I slashed the younger sister throat taking her abilities, making me as strong as them"
