Chapter 11: Having some fun

Dinah's pov

"Whatcha working on?" I asked coming into the kitchen to see Piper cooking and Demi.

"Homework" Demi answered with boredom in her voice. "My teacher gave us an assignment and we have to write a three-page essay on it"

"Oh shit!" I said. "I remember I had to do one of those back when I was your age," I say messing up her hair.

"Speaking of which. Did you guys ever even do your homework?" Piper asked laughing. "Because it seems like you go to school but don't do the work"

"Well, yea because we would get some other kids to do it for us and if we don't go they still do it for us and in return, we protect them from whoever's bothering them" Demi smiled upon hearing this.

"Don't you even think about it young lady" piper says not bothering to look at her.

"Haha, hey is Ally and Anthony back yet?"

"Ugh are they?" Demi says rolling her eyes.

"What? What is it?" I asked.

"They've been arguing ever since they got back. See, he's mad because ally keeps following him around" Piper says.

"And ally is mad because Anthony keeps sneaking around" Demi then finished.

"Mhm. So where's Peter?"

"Mom, locked him in a room so Anthony won't beat him to death"

"That's a little extreme, no?"

"Nah, it was either that or tying up ant. And I don't know about you but I didn't want to listen to Lauren threatens"

"Hmm, we still don't know how we're gonna get them back" I huffed. "Normani's been coming up with something good ideas though"

"Yea, she's been taking the lead since Lauren and Camila departure. I'm impressed especially since she's the omega"

"Don't underestimate me" Normani smiled coming into the kitchen. "I'm more brilliant than you'll ever be"

"I know, I can see it," Piper says smiling at her. "You'll make a good alpha one day" she compliments, going back to cooking.

"..hey Dinah" Ally says from the doorway. "Can we talk? Please"

"..Sure, sure yea let's go outback," I say getting up. Normani shot me a look, and I mouthed 'I don't know' before leaving. "So, what is it?"

"Wolf's eyes? What does the colour mean behind it?"

"..why do you ask?" I questioned. Ally played with her fingers all jittery and anxious like. "Well, um red is more of a powerful one that only the alpha has" I begin to explain, seeing the state Ally is in. "Yellow is a more common colour for betas"

"Then why are yours blue?" Ally quickly asked. "Why aren't they yellow?"

I took a moment to gather my thoughts walking to the swing set before answering.

"..it was a long time ago before I met Lauren and Normani" I start. "I was in this small town called beacon hills. I was born with my wolf abilities. Being a werewolf in school, was such a terrible thing because you always have to make sure that you keep your anger under control" I share.

Ally moved towards the swing set sitting down next to me.

"I was bullied a lot believe it or not and I don't know one day, I was walking home from my job and then I saw my bully, Miranda. I tried to just walk past without any problems, but she had something different in mind. Anyway, I was getting so angry at her and her little posse too. Then it just happened...
