"Yuna!"

She just hears Donghyun's voice call her name once, then she is suddenly dragged to wherever by a person she didn't see the face but judging from how he holds her shoulders, she knows it's Kim Donghyun.

"Come on! Walk faster, will you?"

"What's wrong?"

"Your girlfriend got into a catfight. Woojin's keeping her from murdering someone at the moment-"

He abruptly stops at the end of the hallway, where a sort of crowd is formed in a circle. He then holds her wrist and pushes into the circle, pulling her with him and letting go when he sees Youngmin standing beside Woojin and Yerin with a really serious expression on his face that Yuna almost literally backs away from the crowd if Donghyun wasn't quick enough to hold onto her shoulders.

"Okay, look, I'm not going to prom, and even if I was going, I'd be going with someone else, not you. I'm sorry."

Youngmin speaks, his voice low, and he glances around, catching Yuna's eye for a split second before looking back at the girl he's talking to. Yuna quickly lowers her head and takes a step back; Donghyun quickly squeezes her shoulders as if telling her not to leave.

"And in case you're wondering, I'm not going with my girlfriend because I don't have one at the moment."

Then, he walks right over to them, separates Yuna from Donghyun and grabs her hand to pull her away. While he's walking, she sneaks a few glances at him and is deciding to ask what that was all about when Woojin and Yerin come running up to them.

"Youngmin, we're sorry, we didn't mean to get you dragged into that-" Woojin starts, to be interrupted by Yerin.

"I just didn't want her to talk shit about my best friend-"

Youngmin stops walking, his grip tightening on Yuna's hands. "Guys, thank you for standing up for Yuna for me, but that girl's parents are school administrators and she's pretty much spoiled rotten. I don't want anything bad to happen to you guys, especially you, Yerin, since you literally pulled her hair and all-"

"She deserved it, though!"

"Even so, she's a senior, and you're a sophomore. Imagine what would happen to you if she spilled to her parents and her parents did stuff we wouldn't like."

At this, Woojin and Yerin fall quiet, and Yuna doesn't know what to say because she doesn't even know what's happening. She catches Donghyun's eye behind Woojin and is about to ask him what really is happening, but he shakes his head and looks away.

Youngmin groans loudly, dropping Yuna's hand and messing up his hair frustratedly. "I just want to graduate and finish high school peacefully, I don't even want to go to prom anymore because what's the point, honestly? It's just dressing up and dancing."

"Most of the girls in your class would die to dance with you, though." Donghyun points out nonchalantly, and Yuna lowers her head.

She's always known that Youngmin was one of the more popular guys because for one, he's in a sports team, second, he's good looking and the good looking guys are always popular, and third, he's student body president. Really, who wouldn't have a crush on him? But if what Yerin said was true and that girl really was talking bad about her because of Youngmin, then she'd rather go hide in a hole or somewhere than be seen with him again for a few days.

"True." Youngmin sighs, "That doesn't mean they have to call Yuna names, though. She didn't even do anything wrong. She doesn't even know what's happening right now-" he turns to her, "I'll fill you in on everything later, baby, I promise-"

"Im Youngmin."

He freezes and then turns into polite president Youngmin, his hands folded in front of his stomach and his smile just pasted on his face as he turns around and makes eye contact with the teacher or administrator or whoever he really is who has peeked out from his office and is staring directly at him.

"Yes, sir?"

Yuna can hear his voice trembling slightly, though.

"Step inside my office for a moment please, I'd like to talk with you."

"Yes, sir."

Then the administrator walks back in his office and before Youngmin follows, he glances back at them, his eyes wide and biting down on his lower lip. The only thing Yuna thinks to do is to mouth to him "don't worry, it's going to be fine." because she doesn't know what to think about this as well.

Woojin's the one who says out loud the one thing they're all assuring themselves with.

"He'll be fine, it's Youngmin, anyway. They don't have a single thing against him."
