"Ah, I think I'm a bit drunk." Youngmin says, stretching his arms and laughing to nothing.

Yuna snorts and flops back down on the floor, staring up at the bright ceiling. "Whatever you say."

It's a few hours after their graduation and Donghyun invited her and Youngmin over to his house for a celebratory party which just consisted of a alcohol (courtesy of Youngmin) and a whole lot of talks and truth or dare games.

However, Donghyun bid them both a good mornight already and went off to bed just less than a half hour ago. So she and Youngmin are talking about things they couldn't talk about earlier, for example, about how much Donghyun looks like a buffalo because of his parted hair, and how much Youngmin looks like his stuffed alpaca.

Surprisingly enough, they haven't reached more personal waters yet, and Yuna doesn't know if she'd like to swim in those at the moment. Seeing how drunk Youngmin is, she doesn't exactly want to hear the truth so harshly, if he did end up falling out of love with her so easily.

Unfortunately for her, that's the next topic he brings up.

"Woojin and Donghyun told me that you went out on a few dates with Hyungseob."

She just hums, not really denying tgat fact because there's nothing to deny. He asked her out, so she said yes. She had nothing to lose, anyway. "I did."

"Did you have fun with him?" His tone is conversational and soft but there's something about his phrasing choice and the way he emphasizes specific words that makes her wonder about something she cannot remember.

"Yeah, Hyungseob is a really fun guy. Weird, but fun."

"So, what do you think of him? Do you like him?"

Now, Yuna realizes that this is the fifth time he asked her that for the past month already, and he asks her that every time she starts talking about him. His expression never changes when he does, but it makes her think every single time. Why does he ask so often?

"I like you better."

At this, she hears him exhale an obvious breath that he's been holding as he suddenly moves over from his position to sit right by her side, accidentally toppling over the empty can of orange juice that he mixed with some beer earlier. His body is pressed to hers, and she suddenly can't breathe. Especially when his hand reaches out and starts drawing shapes on her forearm.

"That's amazing to hear."

"Did you ever date anyone in college?" This time, she's the one asking while she tries to keep her voice steady because of the shapes he's tracing and sending tingles up her spine. Maybe it's his touch, or the alcohol, she's not really sure.

"Of course I did." He answers with a confident tone, then his voice drops low, "Never lasted more than a week, though. All three lasted five days or less. They were too demanding and shit, I couldn't stop comparing them to you."

Her breath literally catches in her throat now, and she drops her head as his fingers find their way to hers, dragging across her wrist and entangling them together securely.

"Remember that deal we had?" He speaks up, his voice trembling. "Do you still want me? I mean, do you still want us?"

"Do you?" She replies, not answering the question because she feels like it would be too obvious if she was to answer.

Youngmin doesn't answer as well, and in the dim, now flickering light of Donghyun's living room, his free hand goes to her cheek as he puts his lips on her forehead without any warning, trailing feather lights kisses down from her forehead, on her temple, on her cheeks, on the tip of her nose, on her jawline, then on the corners of her lips.

His breath is hot on her mouth when he whispers. "Have I not been so obvious the past year?"

"You could be lying or acting for all I knew, you lied a lot."

"Don't hold that against me-"

"Just shut up and kiss me, liar."

A few hours later, Yuna wakes up at seven in the morning to find Youngmin sitting on the floor and with his back against the couch and his head lolling back, eyes closed and mouth slightly parted. She quickly slides off the couch, throwing the blanket off of her and wrapping it around his upper torso as she carefully slips a pillow underneath his head and adjusts the blanket.

When she's pulling her hand away, Youngmin suddenly grabs it and she yelps loudly.

"Ah, I forgot, you're a light sleeper."

"I wasn't so much of a light sleeper before," he yawns, covering his mouth with his free hand and she sees something silver glinting on it. "College changed my sleeping habits, I had to wake up at four every morning to study. You, baby, however are a very heavy sleeper."

He's grinning at her now, twisting around so that he's completely facing her and he puts his hand underneath his chin, as if pretending to be a flower. Her gaze immediately goes to his hand and she realizes that there's a thin silver band on the fourth finger of his left hand, and that there's one on hers as well when she can feel him holding onto her hand.

"Where did this ring come from?"

"From yours truly, obviously. What, did you think that came from Donghyun or Woojin?"

She sighs and shakes her head, but a smile is slowly creeping in her lips, "What for?"

"It's a promise ring. I'm yours, you're mine."

A few hours later after Donghyun wakes up and it's nearly eleven, Woojin comes barging in Donghyun's house, shoving his phone in Yuna and Youngmin's faces. "What is the meaning of this?"

As the topmost post on Woojin's social media account, Youngmin has just written, with a photo of attached of his hand plus the ring, that he officially has a girlfriend. He also tagged Yuna in the post, of course. Which is why Yuna can also see that the first comment on the post is Woojin's.

FINALLY. I HAVE LITERALLY BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS.

Then follows Donghyun.

Why did this happen when I was asleep?!!?!?!?
