Yuna was woken up by a call at half past seven in the morning one humid morning in July, way too early for her liking in the summer, and an excited Youngmin's voice speaking into her ear while she's still half asleep under her blanket.

"Wake up, baby, wake up and get showered, we're going on a trip today!"

She groans out loud and hangs up the phone, grabbing her pillow from behind her head and burying her face into it for a few minutes before tossing it to the floor and rolling off of the bed to the door of her closet.

Within the next hour, she throws open her door to find Youngmin sitting outside, a bulky backpack on his lap and him wearing a plain white shirt and sweatpants with his usual checkered red and blue flannel shirt.

"What do you want from me so early in the morning? What trip are you even saying?" She sighs, crouching down beside him as he just laughs and cups her face in his hands to plant a light kiss on her forehead.

"You'll find out later, you'll have fun, trust me."

And when they get to the train station, it's only when he's buying the tickets for them both that she realizes that it's just the two of them, and that they're going to Busan, his hometown. After they get the tickets are waiting for the train, his accent starts coming out and she feels like she's dying.

"Now I know why you're so excited."

She shakes her head, trying to be serious but she can't stop the smile from forming on her lips. He's just too cute being all jumpy and hyper.

They get to Busan when it's one in the afternoon and the sun is blazing hot, so she drags him to go stay inside a restaurant to eat cold noodles. Then, by three o'clock, he's the one dragging her on a double decked bus so, quoting Youngmin, "I can show you around my city,"

He really does point out every place in Busan to her. From the city hall, to the train station (she doesn't know why), to the fish market, to the beaches, to the colleges and every where else. Literally everything.

She has to admit that it's pretty fun to see him so excited and jumpy while the bus is going around and the second layer is deserted except for the both of them, but then she also has to admit that as time passes by, he seems to forget that she's not a local from Busan as his accent grows stronger every time he speaks.

Okay, she's saying that it's adorable and hot and every other compliment only Youngmin can pull out of her, but honestly. She can't understand him very well.

"Oh, the national university!"

He suddenly says, pointing out to her a building on the left with his free hand, because the other is wound tightly around hers. She glances up at his expression to see him smiling and staring at it like it's a college he really wants to go.

"You still haven't told me what you're going to do for college."

"Oh college? It's still weeks away, just forget it for now, yeah?"

She doesn't ask again.

They've been sitting on the top of the bus for hours, watching it do its rounds as people come and go while they're still sitting there, talking about anything under the sun (literally) and sharing stories.

On the fourth round of the bus, the sun starts to set and when the bus stops at the station for Haeundae beach, he tugs on her hand and gets up, holding onto the railing.

"Come on."

While she's busy staring at the setting sun, her sneakers buried in sand, she doesn't notice that beside her, Youngmin has retrieved a blanket from the inside of his backpack. She only sees it when he taps on her shoulder, grinning widely and laughing when her eyes widen.

"Why do you look so surprised? Did you not expect me to take you to my city and not prepare anything for you?"

"Did you even prepare anything at all?" She tilts her head, and his lower lip juts out in a pout as he points childishly to the sun.

"I took you to see the sunset. It's really pretty, I thought you would love to see it. And I brought you to show you around my city, obviously."

Then he flops down on the blanket, his legs crossed in his weird way of sitting, and he pats the space next to him, opening his arms wide. Yuna just rolls her eyes and sits down beside him, smiling anyway as he pulls her close.

"I think you're prettier than the sunset, though." He suddenly says out loud and she snorts.

"That was so cheesy, ew-"

"I tried, okay. Donghyun told me to say that."
