Raven's POV--
I laid in bed staring up at the ceiling, thoughts rummaging through my head. Ever since Jessica and I had explored the main portion of the mansion it felt like someone was watching me. I'm not sure who, or what to do about it. Or about this whole vampire thing. Even if it was true, whats the purpose of the man at the mansion? What part of any of it has anything to do with me, Jessica, or anyone? Maybe it's just a game that my mind wants to pursue like a child.
Whatever it is, I'll just have to deal with it as it comes.
I know one thing for sure, I want to meet the man I saw at the graveyard. If not out of curiosity then for answers. But it'll have to wait, I guess.
Jessica wants to explore the stables at the mansion, not sure why. Guess maybe it'll hold some more secrets? And the attic and basement. Total horror movie stereotype really. But, to be honest, I am also curious about whats in those places. Soon maybe.
I turn over on my side and close my eyes, maybe I'll get some sleep.

Vlad's POV--
I sighed heavily, it was time to talk to the Elders. I wasn't looking forward to it, I hated them almost as much as I hated humans. They were ignorant, greedy, and just assholes. But they were the only ones with complete answers...I hope.
I went to the kitchen to make myself some coffee when I noticed a black Lincoln come up the driveway and slide to a stop. I watched as a man in a black suit step out, his black shades covering his eyes. A small mustache lined his upper lip, and his hard features made him unmistakable. I curse under my breath, and go just around the corner. It gave me just enough room to watch him without them seeing me. I heard voices as two more men stepped from the car as they started walking towards the doors. Being a vampire sure comes in handy with the keen hearing.
"Think he's here boss?" The tall, thickly built man says in a gruff voice. The other smacks him in the chest.
"Of course he is! Where else would he be?" The smaller man snips, his voice squeakier than the other's. The man whom they referred to as 'boss' spoke next.
"Shut it you idiots. Doesn't matter if he's here or not. Our plan is still in action. We must find the human girl in order for it go as planned." He replies, looking around. "Her scent is strong here, I'm sure it wont be any trouble finding her." He says, looking at the mansion once again. Finding no lights or traces of the presence of myself, he climbs back into the car.
I watch them leave the property, and curse under my breathe. Now I had no choice but to get the girl. If those men get a hold of her, they will be unleash a new hell upon this town, and eventually the world. I, for one, would like to continue living. Even if it is by myself in this mansion.
I slip from the kitchen to the study, going over to a shelf of books I pick up one book from it's spot, and find a small button hidden behind where the book was. It opened the hidden door, and I raced down the steps. It was a secret liar of sorts, and with it came magical items that would assist me in finding the girl before the others do.
I find the item I'm looking for, a small ring with a black jewel in the middle. Given to me by the Elders many, many years ago, it would lead me straight to her. I slip it on, and say the few words of incantation. It gives a soft glow, and images of the girl flashes through my mind.
Time to go.
