Raven's POV--

I stared at the man as he stared at the gravestone. He traced a hand over the top of it, and I felt transfixed on him. He seemed so oddly familiar, like major deja vu. I couldn't understand it. A part of me wanted to actually go up to him, to see if he was real or just a figment of my imagination. Why was he so familiar? What's up with the gravestone? There's no way he could be a vampire...right?

By the time Jessica had come to the window, the man had disappeared; and with him, probably my sanity. And what made it worse, was that throughout the rest of our exploration of the house, we kept hearing noises like as if someone was following us.

Finally, we got creeped out enough that we left the mansion, and went to make our way home. We were walking past the gravestone when Jessica stopped me, she had apparently noticed that footsteps were present in front of the gravestone, and that a single flower had been placed on top. She shakes her head, and we continue walking. By the time we reached the gates, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I turned to glance at the mansion once more, to see the man standing in the window, staring at us.

I really hope I'm just sleep deprived.

Jessica apparently didn't even seem to notice, which is weird since she's into this stuff.

We eventually go our separate ways, and I once again go through the routine of getting into my house and to my room without disturbing anyone. This time, on the route to my bedroom, I stopped to quietly open Lilly's room to check on her. She was quietly sleeping with her stuffy.I close her door and head back to my room.

Laying in bed, all I can think of is the man at the mansion.  I have mentally searched who he may be and how I know him, but I cannot think of a single thing. I have no recollection of him, the gravestone, or the mansion. And yet it seems so familiar.

I'm pretty sure that the gravestone would be from someone he loved, maybe? Maybe he was a ghost who hasn't gotten over something like that. It'd be kinda romantic really, that he would be wondering the estate maybe in search of her? Or maybe he is keeping a secret hidden regarding her? I'm not sure, but whatever it is I want to know
