Trouble

"Now your other arm." When I held out both of my arms he picked me up and I held on tightly. suddenly we jumped off the cliff and then we were flying across the valley.

He was still there. I was holding onto him for my life...Extremely scared by the rushing wind. But the air around us turned into smoke. Black smoke that seemed  to let us fly together in the air...or at least him.

The black smoke then fell away and we were on another mountain ledge. "W-what was that?" I asked wide-eyed after a moment of getting my bearings. "It took a very long time to master." Said Josh. "I don't know how to explain the black smoke but it lets me float in the air. The smoke lets me travel quickly if there isn't any land."

"Oh." I whispered.

"So you can run fast, fly, jump, and drink blood?" I noted. My body was still shivering from the fly. "Well we used to have more, but I guess that's all." He mumbled.

"Like what?" I asked all the sudden full of wonder. "Shape shifting into any animal, mind-controlling, and I can't remember the rest but it was a lot."

"Wow." I whispered. "I guess your kind was very powerful." His face then turned sorrowful. "I thought you would freak out but you didn't, your brave Jamie." He whispered. I saw his expression and I wanted him back all the sudden. I wanted him to be happy. He would probably never be happy since the death of his family but deep inside that one light shined against the others once again, I felt like it had a voice, telling me to be with him, to make him happy at the darkest moments, to save him from whatever danger that came. I cared for him so much and if I had to leave him then I would probably be as depressed as him for the rest of my life.

I felt like we were destined to be together, forever.

"Josh." I whispered. "It's ok. I just wanted to...know you a little more. I just felt." He then hugged me. I felt all the holes in my broken heart suddenly heal. "You love me Jamie...don't you. That's the reason your not afraid of me." I could feel my eyes glow. The feeling came to me again. I then reached up to kiss him and he accepted it. We kissed for a long moment. Until I heard footsteps behind us and we stopped the beautiful moment. I then looked up into his eyes. They were in horror. His face was frozen. I knew whatever was watching us was evil, Was corrupted.

I then slowly turned my head to see who it was.

He had glowing yellow eyes...snake eyes and he had black armor all across his body. His horns were also armored and he had white hair that went every which way. He had leather black wings and they towered over us. He had a huge sword that he pointed towards us. "What you want you pervert." Josh shouted. "Didn't you take enough lives."

"You two love birds. I've been looking all over Ero to find you two. Been killing the wrong lives just to find you, but you were here all along." He's voice sounded young, but I could feel it vibrant through my head, haunting me.

I then turned my whole body toward him. I could feel the need to protect him, so badly. I could feel my eyes start to glow a bright red. "A werewolf." He whispered. "Too easy."

"If you take another step. Then I'm going to kill you myself." I growled. He then lifted a gloved hand and I could feel my body start to float then being thrown against the side of the wall. The mountain quaked and I fell onto the ground. I felt my bones start fixing themselves and I screamed in pain. 

"What do you want from us!" He shouted even louder. I could feel it echo across the mountain. The demon then laughed. "You and her are dangerous, too...powerful. My leader told me to kill you and her. And here I am. Finishing his request."

"Your leader is a sick tyrant. Telling your people to kill off millions. He shouldn't even be your leader."

"How dare you! How dare you speak of him in that way!" The demon shouted. His eyes flaring. I then felt my body start to shiver. My eyes glowing red in rage. He then pulled his sword into the air and suddenly I felt this incredible wave of power wash over me. I felt my senses heighten and then instinctively I got up and felt myself running at lightning speed across the mountain. Time had slowed down around me and I was in front of josh. I quickly grabbed the sword and yanked it out of his hands. Then time suddenly came back to normal speed. The demon fell back. His eyes glowing in disbelief. "How could you. How did you-."

I then slashed his head off and kicked him off the cliff. I watched as he fell onto the ground and I closed my eyes at the bloody seen. I saw what I did and dropped the sword, now covered in demon blood.

Josh grabbed me and hugged me. We stayed in that pose for a very long moment, gasping and trying to catch back up onto reality.

"Come on. We need to hurry. More of them are coming." He said gasping and sweat covering his marble face.
