Three weeks earier at the prism
The sky was a swirl of oranges and gold. The trees had wasted away in these lands and so did the grass. The animals who even crossed the lands of Gotora perished in its smoke. Of course it used to be a beautiful place filled with vibrate flowers and lush greens but now that all has been wasted away by the demons. The prism was a huge black square where the leader of the demons lived protected and horrible experiments occurred the most in.
The clouds exhaled acid rain that smoked the grounds all across the lands of Gotora. That killed off the living plants that were trying to thrive in the waste lands. Screams could be heard from inside of the prism and shouts and roars. But today was the day the mad scientist have been waiting for. A huge red drone flew onto the runway of the prism and one of the prisms maw-like doors opened and the drone flew right through it and the door closed with a loud boom. the drone raced through many doors of the inside of the prism to keep the air pollution cleansed from the outside world.
the drone stopped in the giant core of the prism. It landed and all was quiet. a demon with yellow wings walked towards the drone and opened the door to silently check the inside. "It's here!" He shouted. "Our visitors are here!"
more came towards the drone and pulled out five huge black caskets and sent them off to their destination in the prism.
A teenage boy with thick brown hair was tied up by many medal chains in a bright white room. He opened his eyes and started to breath fast. He didn't know where he was. His heart was beating fast and sweat was starting to pour down his face. The chains started to rattle and he's eyes glowed a deep gold.
he could hear foot steps that vibrated behind the door. He started to panic and he was breathing faster and faster. the door opened and he saw a huge demon with giant white wings and glowing blue eyes with a black bottle in his gloved hands walk into the room. "Who are you!" He shouted in fear.
"Stop it! Calm down or you will be burned alive!" He stopped moving at that moment. He was still sweating hard and his heart was beating like a loud siren.
"You killed my family! I saw you killing off all of them! Why!" He felt so depressed and so scared at the same time that he felt like he was dying on the inside.
"You want to know a secret." The demon whispered. "I would rather die!" He shouted.
The demon then chuckled. "This is not funny! Kill me off now! Like you did with my family! I don't care just do it!"
"Blaine, not all of them are dead, just listen to me." He said softly. Blaine's face turned from hatred to frozen. "Who, tell me who is still alive." He whispered.
"Your brother Blaine."
"My brother." Blaine whispered. "Please, tell me, where, please I'm begging you." He's golden eyes shimmered with dread.
"I'll show you, there's just one thing you need to do."
"I'll do anything!" He shouted. "He's the only thing I got left!"
"Good." The demon whispered. "All you have to do is drink this."
The demon opened the bottle and threw the top onto the white floor. He smelled the aura of what was inside and he started to uncontrollable rattle the chains and he felt his fangs grow larger, Like he was about to drink the blood of a deer. At that moment his heart stopped beating and he felt his throat burn for the taste of the mystery liquid.
He pressed the bottle against his lips. Blaine felt it flow down his throat and he felt it's power, its taste, the need for more of that mysterious fluid. "More!" He shouted. "Please give me...more!"
"Your going to have more, as much as you want." The demon whispered.
Three weeks later in the ancient palace
We were going out on another hunting trip. This time I wanted to catch some real animals as a human. Not a random rat or unfortunate bird that landed in one of my traps, no I was thinking of a tiger or a giant python or even a jungle Griffin.
"Are you sure you don't need any help?" Asked josh as we were about to head into the sky. "No, but I still need some help with my fear of heights." I joked. He laughed and so did I.
We landed in the lush jungle far away from the lost empire, the guardians that roamed around the borders and killed off anything that was near the ancient walls. I heard the whistle and chirping of the birds above the branches and the trees rattling to the warm wind of a bright sunny day. Josh then kissed me on the forehead. "Be safe now." He whispered. "of course, I won't be running into the maw of a hungry tiger!" I joked with a laugh. Then with a blink of an eye he had vanished into the forest.
I walked around the forest. Every now and then I would hear a twig break and as soon as I sneaked up onto whatever it was it fled either farther away into the forest or up a tree where I couldn't catch it. suddenly a moment later I heard a huge thump then a few twigs breaking. I knew it was too huge for a rabbit and too small for a guardian. It must of been a jaguar or a griffin! But I had to see for myself. I crouched below the undergrowth and sneaked towards the large creature. But the creature jumped into the air and pounded me into the ground. It's fur was golden and its eyes blazed blood red...
