I held tightly onto him as the wolves came into the meadow. "We are going to run." He whispered and below I could see all of their ears lift. Then suddenly the forest blared out. Even with my incredible werewolf eyesight I couldn't see what was going on. I just held on tight and closed my eyes.

Then I could feel the quickened wind freeze. I opened my eyes. We were next to a lake...a huge one. I could still see the familiar trees in the forest where I lived my whole life next to the silent and still lake. I've known the forest so well and I've never seen this lake before. I slowly put my feet on the ground. Still looking into his glowing yellow eyes. "We need to wash the scent off or those werewolves will find us." He said softly. "Well...uh.... I had never went swimming in my life." I said.

"Me neither." Said josh with a little sarcasm. "But it's worth a try." Well at least not as a human. I thought looking at my tan hands. I heard a splash and then water soaked my hair and my ragged clothes. I looked towards the water. The water was reflecting off the beautiful sky and the clouds now farther away in the distance and the trees nearby. "Come on!" Shouted josh smiling. "It's shallow!"

"Uh, ok." I whispered. I slowly put my feet into the water. It was cold but I needed to wash the scent off. I walked farther and farther into the water. As it got deeper I slowly started to swim...Doggy paddle. "Hah!" I looked grimly at him. "Hey this is the first time! Give me a break." I put my feet back onto the slippery rocky floor of the lake. "Sorry. I can't control it." He said. But I looked at his toothy smile. Yeah right. I thought.

"I think I'm getting the hang of it." Josh said starting to swim around. "How did you! Grrrr!" He then swam over to me and he grabbed both of my hands. "I got instinct. Here I can help you. Now let your feet drift off the floor." I did so. My body slowly floated upward. "Now softly kick your legs back and forth, and then sway your hands back and forth." He instructed.

he slowly let go of me. I felt myself start to sink and then I felt my arms and my legs move fiercely. He quickly put his cold hands back onto mines. "It's ok." He whispered softly. "Now let's try again."

After thirty minutes I had finally learned how to properly swim like a human. I swam around the giant lake with him. Every time I touched his cold hands this feeling kept on growing. After a while he was holding my hand more and I felt like I could never leave his side...yes that was the feeling.

I felt like I had never experienced this feeling. Well maybe before my mother died. But I knew this was different. Actually I never felt any feeling before, other then getting pushed around a lot and werewolves commanding me around and making me do things I didn't want to do which made me angry. But that was it...

We finally sat on the grassy ground next to the glittering lake. In the lakes reflection  I could see me and him. He was looking across the lake while I looked at myself. In my human form I've changed so much ever since I was just a kid. Well of course my clothes were dirty because I didn't use them much and also I had brown eyes. I remembered that in my human form whenever I wasn't upset or anything I had them. But in my wolf form I had them all the time.

"So." He said softly. His voice snapped me out of thinking. He then sighed and turned his body to my way. I did it to. "I just...ever since that night when I heard you come to me. I've felt a...feeling." He then paused. I saw his eyes start to glow again. "And I couldn't run away. I knew that I could but." He then sighed.

I then at that moment felt the emotion...the feeling. It was much more powerful then before but at the same time so mysterious. "What feeling?" I asked. "Come into the lake." He asked and then stood up. I then followed. I put my feet in there and felt the coldness rush through me. But as I watched him In front of me I didn't care about the water, the wind, the quickening air, the rain slowly falling through the sky. He was the only thing I cared about. The only thing I wanted.

We then stood there. Half in the cold water and half in the windy surface. I felt the wind pull at my black hair. The rain water slowly rushing down my face and then he held me up to his marble scarred chest. I then felt the feeling to put my lips up to his and we did. For a long moment I felt like by our lips I was fused to him. I felt my mind explode with multiple emotions and my soul start to rise. I felt like I was on a long drenching quest and I finally found the destination...the thing I needed. It was him...Him all along...
