I layed in Evans bed, while he was taking a shower. I scrolling threw old pictures remembering all the old, fun times I had with my friends. I got caught up on this one picture of me and Ashley outside doing cartwheels at the same time. I can remember that moment like it was yesterday it took us ten times to get the camera timer just right, and when we got the perfect shot we thought it was the coolest thing ever. I went to the next picture which was of me and Lacey she was in the play I did because my mother said I needed to be involved in school more so I chose drama because honestly I didn't think I'd get picked, but I got cast as Emily Webb in our high schools adaptation of Our Town. I actually enjoyed playing the lead, but Lacey wanted that part more then anything she was usually cast as the lead it must have been a bad day because she got the part of my mom. I started to laugh I remember feeling like a complete outcast when I walked into the first couple days of practice mostly because Lacey and her friends avoided and rolled their eyes at me but eventually Lacey and I became close during the play. I decided I hadn't talked to her in a while and decided to send her a text. -hello mom ;)- within seconds she responded -lol hello miss tv star- - we need to hang out I miss you- I smiled I loved the feeling of talking to someone you hadn't in a while. -could I go to your set? I'd enjoy that so much- -yeah sure!, can you be ready in like an hr- I figured I'd get it over with -of course I'm super excited to see you!- -me too! Ill text you when I leave-. I was genuinely excited to see her then. -okay be a good daughter put on your seat belt ;)- I started to laugh I don't know why it was honestly a stupid joke we kept on since the play. "What's so funny" evan asked. He was only in a towel and water was dripping down his body. "Just a inside joke with this chick from my school" I responded. I took a double look at him because he looked incredible "oh, hey now stop checking me out" he smirked and then walked to his closet shutting the door so I couldn't see him change. "You tease" I screamed. "You whore" he screamed back. We both laughed. He walked out and walked over to me rubbing my back. "I gotta go soon I want to pick up some stuff from the grocery store, and pick up my friend Lacey she wants to come to the set" I said then kissed his cheek. "Okay love" he responded. I blushed I loved when he called me that it gave me instant butterflies. I leaned in and kissed him. "I love you" I smiled. "I love you too" "bye babe" "bye love" I blushed again and with that I was out the door.

When I got to Lacey's house she was waiting outside. Her hair had gotten longer she had brown hair all the way down her back. When she approached the car you could tell she over did the make up a dark smokey eye with defined red lipstick, but Lacey always did that. She was wearing white shorts with a black tank top that said beautiful across it with silver glitter, and to match she had silver glitter vans on. "Taissa" she screamed "Lacey" I mimicked her. She turned on the radio. She played glamorous by the black eyes peas. I died of laughter we always listened to that when we were killing time before practice or getting ready for the show. "Omg" I said. "Dude I know" she laughed. "Can you believe it's only been a year and half since we did all that stupid shit" I asked. "Not at all I feel like were completely different people" she smiled. "Me too my life has obviously changed" I said "um yeah your the talk of the town at school" she demanded. "Yeah I've gotten text from many people like dude we should totally hang out remember that one time you handed me that paper In math class, and I'm all like what the fuck is your problem" I laughed. "Yeah a bunch of people are like dude I partied with Taissa last night and me and Ashley are all like shut the fuck up were the ones who would party with Taissa" she laughed. "There just douche bags" I smiled. "So that Tate guys adorable" she said. "Oh yeah I dunno" I responded playing it cool. "Whatever your lucky you get the kiss him, and jeez he's a great actor you guys have great Fucking chemistry" "it's just cause of mad acting skills" we laughed. "Well you did kill it in Out Town" she smiled. "Duhh" I said as we pulled onto the lot. "I'm so excited I wonder if Jessica Lange or The Tate guys will talk to me" she said "uh well I'm just filming a scene with Evan and this other guy named Brennan" I responded "oh okay" she smiled.

After the day was over Lacey and I got into my car." So what did you think" I asked. "You were amazing first off, and that scene was so emotional and Jesus Evan crying it was just so amazing to see that scene" she said. "Oh so it's Evan now not Tate" I said lifting my eyebrow at her. "Haha yeah I got to talk to him for a while when you were in your trailer doing makeup and costume" she smiled "oh what did you talk about" I was curious "omg Tais I gave him my number and he said we could get coffee sometime can you believe that. He wants to take me out" she was ecstatic. "Wow that's crazy" I responded lying. I was livid why would Evan say that. What was wrong with me. What did Lacey have that I lacked. I mean maybe I wasn't into wearing closes like that or wearing that amount of make up, but why would he say that. It hurt it really did, and what's worse, what's always worse is that this relationship is secret so I have to sit here and act happy for her. "Are you listening" Lacey said pulling me out of my thoughts "sorry I zoned out" I said pulling out a fake laugh. "It's time to get out of violet mode, and back to taissa" she teased . "Oh yeah I tend to do that sometimes" I said to cover up my real feelings. "So I was saying how great would it be for me to date him it could open up so many doors, and he's fucking adorable" she smiled. I guess she thought she'd get famous from being with him. "Yeah well Evan tends to play around with girls so it wouldn't get your hopes up" I hissed. "Dude did he mess with you or cheat on you or something" she asked. "Oh no he just talks to me about all the girls he fucks and he's basically a man whore" I lied. "Oh well maybe I won't text him back. I don't want to get into all that mess" she rolled her eyes and laid her head back on the head rest of my car. "He already texted you" this was really starting to piss me off. "Yeah he said coffee Thursday at 4, but I didn't respond yet". That's when I was filming is he cheating on me. "Yeah I wouldn't go he's just playing games" I repeated. She laughed "fuck guy" she screamed. "I know right" I laughed too. We pulled up to her house and I gave her a hug. "Well wanna go shopping on Saturday" she asked "is that even a question of course I need some new shoes anyway" I laughed "me too"she agreeded "see you Saturday" I waved as she got out of my car. "Bye"

When I got home I ran to let Gracie out she was getting so big when she was a puppy she was at my ankles and now she was to my knees. She followed me into my bathroom. LIke normal and layed on the floor as i pulled out all the makeup I had and began to put more makeup on I figured if Evan was trying to cheat on me it's because I was not as pretty as the other girls like Lacey because I wasn't into getting glamorous to go to the mall or to dinner. After I fixed my makeup to the best of my ability I curled my hair. When I was done I stared into the mirror I felt pretty I had a smokey eye with gold and brown eye shadow a defining cat eye with my black eyeliner, a think layer of mascara on, and my lipstick entitled "really red" on I looked absurd and unnatural but if that's what it took to get Evans heart then that's what I would do. I went to my closet and tried on so many dresses and finally put on a skin tight black dress I wore only once at one of Vera's parties. I walked out of the room to see evan I didn't hear him come in I guess I was to preoccupied with my transformation. "Where are you going" Evan looked with a confused look on his face. "No where" I said and walked to the kitchen to pour me a shot of his vodka. "Tai what's going on" he said running to take the shot from me. We fist fought for a second until the shot was all over me and my dress. "Great that's just great" I screamed. "Tai you don't drink unless your at a party sometimes, what's your deal you look like a street walker" he demanded. "My bad I thought that's what you found attractive" I continued to yell "okay then I don't what gave you that assumption" he rolled his eyes. "Why did you text Lacey, am I not enough for you am I not pretty enough" I broke down crying the make up I caked on poured down my face. "Stop acting jealous and insecure I was going to give get acting advise" he hissed. I continued to cry "then why did you ask to go while I was going to be filming" I questioned. "Because I didn't want to miss a minute when I could be with you Tai" he came over and wiped my tears "you don't have to do this for me I like the way you look normally, Tai your the prettiest girl because you don't need makeup, even the film crew knows the makeup department barley puts makeup on you" he comforted me. "I love you Evan" I smiled. "Tai I love you too" he said and kissed my head.
