These things are true:
Many published authors in the Philippines find it difficult to sell 300 books in a year.
Many published authors don't have 100 passionate readers.
Many published authors will have mostly family and friends at a book launch and maybe 10 real fans or less.
Let's face it -- you reading this? YOU ARE ALREADY DOING BETTER THAN MANY PUBLISHED AUTHORS. Yes, maybe not as much as the most popular authors here, but any traditional publisher will be willing to work with you. Mas marami pa ring bibili ng book mo, compared to a non-Wattpad author with ZERO readers.
"Akala ko ba quality [of story] dapat over quantity [of reads]?"
Compared to an average non-Wattpad author, you the Wattpad author are automatically MORE POPULAR.
(Or not as kawawa as you think you are.)
