"Sun, get up!" Calls Mom from the kitchen. I yawn and stretch, as my opening eyes react to the light of the world. I didn't get much sleep last night, but when I did, I of course dreamt of Lillie. She's all I've thought about since she left for Kanto about half a year ago, so naturally, nearly all of my dreams have been about her.
That may seem a bit cringy, but honestly, she's just so... amazing.
I get out of bed and get changed into the usual clothes. I've gotten used to being at home again, but at first, it was weird. Most of the boxes in the house have been sorted by Mom. Suddenly, there is a knock on the door.
"Honey, could you get that please?"
I walk over and open the door, only to see Hau.
"Sun! Sun! You'll never guess what happened at the Malasada shop today!" He exclaims.
"Ummm... the Malasada jumped off the plate and ran away?" I sigh, sarcastically.
"What? No, that's dumb. I heard from some fishermen that some boat from Kanto will be arriving soon!"
"I don't understand, why is this so..." I begin, but I suddenly consider the possibility of Lillie being on that boat... probably not, though. Hau smiles, as he sees that I've realised what he meant. I think for a moment, what if she is on this boat? But what are the odds though, she probably won't be. After all, I can't give my hopes up.
