Welcoming Colby

Brooke's POV

* 4 months later*

I woke up with Coles arm around my waist. I slid out if his grip and grabbed my necessitates for a shower.

I couldn't help but glance in the mirror and see that my stomach was huge. yes I was coming close to my due date but still, it shocked me.

I showered quickly and got dressed and did my makeup.

I walked back into my bedroom and Cole was up a getting ready. I asked him," what are we doing today?'

He turned leaned down and kissed me then said," I have work, you can come along if you want or you can stay."

I laughed," you must be crazy I you think I'm going to stay here alone when I'm due any day now."

He chuckled and finished getting dressed. When he finished he picked me up and carried me to the car. when we got to the pack house everyone freaked out when they realized how large my stomach was.

I just smiled and chit chatted with some members until I realized that Cole was gone. I walked to his office and Walked right in.

I grabbed some papers and put them in the filing cabinet when I felt a sharp pain in my lower back.

Cole must have noticed me wince because he looked up and had a worried look on his face. He finally asked," are you ok?"

I tried to smile and said," yea I'm fine I just got a paper cut, I'm Fine."

I hoped he didn't realize I was lying. He must have believed me because he went back to doing whatever he was.

I felt another sharp pain in my back and true to suppress the wince. He looked at me again and said," Brooke are you ok?"

I wasn't," I guess so"

He laughed,"you need to stop lying now you need to explain."

I rushed out," there's a sharp pain in my lower back, its fine."

He looked worried," Brooke your not fine. Your going into labor."

I laughed," I think I would know if I'm going labor."

He picked me up and carried me put the door and placed me in the car. he drove home frantically and i guess he mind linked the pack doctor because she was there already.

He carried me out and into the house. The pack doctor asked," how far along is she?"

He gave her a 'are you serious look'," I'm not sure, she's had two contractions that I know of so far but her water hasn't broke."

The pack doctor looked at me and said," is that true?"

I nodded and Cole continued up the stairs.

He laid me on the bed and I looked at him and said," you guys are over reacting, I'm sure I'm fine."

And with that I felt like I peed myself. I was far from fine now.

Cole looked at me with a' I told you so' look. I started to worry. I asked him," I don't think we're ready for this."

He smile and said," you're going to do fine."

I felt another sharp pain in my back and when that one ended another on came.

Cole saw the pain in my eyes and I guess he mind linked the pack doctor because e burst threw the doors again.

She came and talked to Cole I'm the corner. I couldn't tell what they were talking about, but I didn't really care.

The doctor came over and said," Brooke, I'm going to need you to push."

I looked at Cole and said," I swear I will kill you, you did this to me."

He laughed and took my hand. I pushed like the doctor and nearly crushed Coles hand.

The pack doctor told me to push again and I did. I screamed this time and noticed Cole was a little worried.

I was told again to push and then I heard cries. I looked at Cole who was tearing up. I laughed and said," the big bad alphas crying."

He laughed and the pack doctor handed us the baby. I looked at Cole and said," you got the boy you wanted."

He laughed," yes, yes I did. Now what should we name him?"

I thought for a little bit and said," Colby."

He smiled,"i kind if like that. So Colby Michael Daniels?"

I nodded and repeated it to myself," Colby Michael Daniels."

I laughed and grabbed my phone. I took a picture if Colby an Cole an sent it to Heather. She instantly texted back," I'm omw!"

I laughed," Heather and Cameron are in thee way."

He laughed and said," Colby, you got your hands full."
