Brooke's POV.

"I think I know where she is." I repeated.

Cole looked at me dumbfounded and trey did a hand movement telling me to explain further.

"Katie and maddy mentione something about a little boy.

He's Katie's nephew and maddy's son.

I think his name was Brayden?"

Cole nodded," do you know where Brayden was?"

I thought," she mention something about him staying with grandparents in San Francisco."

He nodded and ran out the door, trey following after.

I ran after."Cole! you can't just leave your family!"

He stopped and turned around to look at me.

"Brooke, as alpha of this pack, I have to go out there. it's my job to keep this pack safe.

I swore on my life that I would do whatever was necessary to save this pack.

If that means getting killed in the process so be it.

Look, I'm just going to find Cameron. i'll be fine, and so will you.

So please go back inside and his yourself an Colby."

I felt a tear slip down my cheek.

Damn hormones.

He ran off into the forest, disappearing.

I turned around and walked back inside, locking the door behind me.

I grabbed Colby and walked to the 'safe room'.

Cole had it specially made after Colby was born.

I unlocked the door with the four digit pin me walked inside.

I had never been in here before but it was beautiful.

Cole had said it was sound proof.

But inside there was a nursery and all the necessities that would be needed for a baby for a little over a year.

There was also stuff in here for Cole and I.

I put Colby in the crib and made him a bottle.

I sit on the bed and fiddle with the covers, waiting of Cole to come back.

After what seemed like hours I fell asleep.

I woke up to trey shaking my shoulders," Brooke, Brooke! get off your lazy ass!"

I sat up," trey, I'm your Luna, do t disrespect me. now what the hell do you want?"

He looked down.

" Oh god, it isn't Cole is it? IS he okay? He's not dead is he? Oh god I can't raise to kids on my own!"

"Brooke, I'm sorry."

I felt tears slip down my cheeks," it's all your fault!"

He smiled, and Cole walked in the door.

"You fucking asshole! I'm going to kill you!"I shouted.

Cole walked over and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Cole, he doesn't deserve gamma position. I think we boils take it away." I said with a smile at the end.

Treys eyes widen in fear." you wouldn't."

I smiled again," oh but I would. Cole can I do the honors?"

Cole smile and whispered," of course. is this 'pay back'?"

I nodded," of course."

"Trey, do to disrespect and feeding false information I hear by demote you from gamma position."

His eyes widened. "oh god, what am I going to tell Daniela? what and I going to do? I'm going to lose my half I the custody order. "

I laughed," I'm just kidding. but paybacks a bitch, don't mess with me, gamma."

I grabbed Colby and walked out the doors and into my bedroom. I laid on the bed, Colby behind me.

I closed my eyes a d started to slip asleep, I felt the bed dip and knew that Cole has came in.
