Packing up

I opened my eyes, an everything was blurry. I sat up, Cole was beside me and we were in my old bedroom. I asked," how long was I out this time?"

He jumped," I didn't realize you were up. But you were out for 20 minutes."

I nodded," ok. not as long as last time."

He smiled," alright let's get packing."

I got up and walked to the dresser. I still had clothes here but most of them were at Coles. I folded them and put them in the box.

I walked over to were Cole was. He was clearing off one of my dressers. It had perfume bottles on it and there were a few photos. I noticed he had one in his hand.

It was a picture of Austin, Faith, And I at the football game. Faith had dragged me along to see Cole and Austin's football game. I stood behind him and attempted to rest my head on his shoulder but he was to tall so I went to his side and kissed his cheek. he turned and smiled.

" I love you." said Cole.

I smiled," I love you too."

He put the photo in the box and the rest if the stuff. In a matter of time we were finished. He and I carried boxes to his car. All of the boxes filled his trunk.

We drive home and it was almost silent when he said," Do you want to go do something?"

I smiled," what did you have in mind?"

He smiled," well we could go see a movie."

I nodded," I would love to. Now what are we going to see?"

He looked at me and said," How about Ride Along?"

I nodded," I would like that."

*after the movie*

I smiled as I walked out," I didn't realize it would be that funny."

Cole laughed," yup."

We walked to the car and I slid in on my side and Cole slid in on his. the drive home was short. we got home and carried in the boxes. As I sat down the box I noticed a note on the bed addressed for Cole. I handed it to him as he entered the room. he smiled as I handed it to him," what's this for babe?"

I unsurely," I found it on the bed."

He opened it quickly, it said.

"Obviously you thought that I was lying when I said I would kill your mate. I've been watching. Keep your eyes open or else they'll both be mine."

Cole eyes went black as he read the letter. I looked at him and he looked about ready to kill someone. Cole grabbed his phone and called Cameron. from the conversation all I heard was.

Cole: They're coming. this time I'm not taking it lightly. What happened to Faith isn't going to happen to Brooke.

Cameron: do you want guards around the house or do we want to attack?

Cole: both. we can plan the attack but send the best guards to surround the house.

Cameron: alright, anything else?

Cole: no, but keep your eyes open. I already lost one person I love, I'm not losing another.

And with that the conversation was over. he was silent until I asked," why are they doing this to you?"

He wouldn't look at me. he finally said," I kicked them out of my pack 5 years ago and they are angry because no one wants a bunch of rogue werewolves in there pack. they think I they didn't make it in one pack they won't make it in there's."

I nodded," so why don't you ask them to come back to the pack? or why don't we just kill them?"

Cole finally looked at me," I would rather die than have them in my pack. They betrayed me once, so I'm not giving them a chance to do it again. And this time we are ready. We know what they are capable of. I will not rest until they are dead. I lost Faith and I'm not going to lose you."

Cameron's POV

My phone rang. It was Cole.

Cole: They're coming. this time I'm not taking it lightly. What happened to Faith isn't going to happen to Brooke.

Me : do you want guards around the house or do we want to attack?

Cole: both. we can plan the attack but send the best guards to surround the house.

Me: alright, anything else?

Cole: no, but keep your eyes open. I already lost one person I love, I'm not losing another.

I wasn't going to let Cole down. I called the pack and had them send the best fighters over to Coles. I couldn't stop thinking about the situation with Cole that I almost forgot that I was supposed to hang with Heather. I quickly changed and drove over to her house. she was inside and watching previews to the movie. I walked into the kitchen. i got us both drinks. I was going to get Hesther to tell the truth. With a little help from my friend. I. Handed her the drink and drank mine. she seemed to like it because it was gone in a matter of seconds. If I have her another one she would be spilling the truth. I quickly walked o the kitchen and got her another one.

I let her drink it and then waited about 15 minutes for it to kick in. I knew it was ready because the look on her face. I finally asked," do you love me?"

She smiled," yes."
