Double trouble

Brooke's POV

"Ah, Alpha, luna, what brings you here?"

Cole whispered something in her ear and pulled me along to follow the lady.

We walked down a hallway, turned left and then entered the first room.

Cole picked me up an sat me on his lap, taking a seat in the red chair.

" Where's Colby at?"

He smiled," a few pack members have him."

" Who are they? if I don't know them I don't want them touching my baby."

He laughed," I trust them, he's in good hands."

I nodded,"okay, I guess I trust your judgment."

The door opened and the pack doctor walked in.

"Hello Melanie."

" Alpha, Luna."

I smiled, and waved. I guess her name was Melanie. better than pack doctor.

Cole laughed behind me, he probably read my mind.

"Yes I did, you could have just asked you know."

I shrugged," its to much work."

He picked me up and sat me on the bed.

He rested his hands on my stomach.

" I love you."

" I love you too."

Melanie came back in with an ultra sound equipment. I hadn't realized she left.

"If you wouldn't mind, can I do an ultrasound?"

I nodded and Cole removed his hands.

I laid back and Melanie pulled my shirt up revealing a baby bump.

" I apologize ahead if time, the gel-"

"Yes, I know. the gel is very cold."

She laughed," I just don't want to startle you."

I nodded and she put on the gel. She moved it around until she froze an image on the screen.

" This is baby a." She said pointing the screen.

"Wait, did you say 'baby a'? As in there's more than one?" Cole interrupted.

"Yes, there is more than one. this is baby b." she pointed to the other figure.

I looked at Cole who had a grin from ear to ear.

I have him a confused look.

"Why are you smiling?"

He took the towel and wiped my stomach. " why wouldn't I be smiling? I just found I'm going to be a dad to two kids."

I smiled," going on 18 and already have 3 kids."

"About that. What do you want for your birthday?"

" I don't want, it expect anything."

" Brooke, you're getting a present. Now what do you want?"

" I don't want anything. it's just another day."

"Brooke it's not just another day! it's your 18th birthday! you're officially an adult!"

I nodded," yes, so what. I don't want anything Cole. I already have everything I could ask for. I have you, Colby, baby a, and baby b."

He laughed," we should try to name them."

" We don't know what they are, so we need unisex names, like Alex."

"We aren't naming the baby Alex."

" It was just an example Cole. trust me I don't want to name one of them Alex. we should just wait or we can make a list. boys and girls."

He picked me up and tried to carry me out.

" Cole, I can walk."

"Yes, and I can talk."

" Put me down. I'm pregnant, not paralyzed."

" Yes, but I'm alpha. and I do what I want, when I want, where I want, how I want. I want to carry you so that's what's happening."

"Fine." I mumbled.

" I love you Brooke." he kissed my forehead an sat me in the car.

"Wait, my baby."

He laughed," turn around.

I swerved my head to see someone buckling in Colby.

I stuck my tongue out at Cole and he slid into the driver side.

This was going to be a long drive home.
