Learning the truth

Brooke's POV

Heather burst threw the door and i got up and hugged her. I asked her,"how was your vacation?"
She smiled," it was.... interesting.'
I laughed," spill it."
She looked around the room and then I noticed it. She was lying!
I basically yelled at her," if your lying god help you! I swear just tell me the truth!"
She smiled and said," I would I I could but I'm under wrath of Cameron an Cole."
I laughed." your intimidated by them?"
She smile and sat on the bed," by the alpha? yes. By Cameron, no."
I laughed,"your funny. but how have you been?"
She looked at me and said," I'm fine, how are you and the baby? you're becoming so noticeable."
I smiled and she laughed.
The door burst open and Cole slid in. His white shirt was covered in blood and he had a few scratches on his face.
I stood up and walked to the dresser grabbing him a new shirt and I walked Into the bathroom to get the first aid kit.
I cleaned him up and Heather left us alone. I pulled of his now ruined shirt and gave him the clean one.
I leaned up and kissed him on the lips," so why are you all bloody?"
He laughed and said," a long story."
He picked me up and sat me on the bed. he finally said," I'm going to just tell you the truth ok?"
I nodded. he continued," heather was kidnapped and we just got her back but we had to kill some people so that's why I'm bloody."
I laughed," your joking right?"
He frowned," no I'm serious."
I looked away," well in glad your ok. and so is Heather."
He smiled and said," don't you think it's about time we got stuff for the baby?"
I smiled," have you seen the nursery?'
He shook his head no and I led him to the nursery. it was jungle themed with a cherry wood crib and changing table. There was also a cherry wood rocking chair and other necessitates. he looked at me and said," when did you have time to do this?"
I laughed," while you were out Savin the day, I had a little bit of help from Braxton. he put together the furniture and I painted."
He smiled and picked me up and lederhosen to the bedroom.

Coles POV
I walked her to the bedroom and laid her on the bed. I put in a random movie and laid down beside her. The movie ended up being The Notebook. Brooke quickly feel asleep with her head on my chest. After she was asleep I could go to sleep.
It had been a long day.

I woke up with Brooke still on my chest. I Turned off the notebook and put on regular tv. I settled with Football As broke started to wake up. she laughed," have you looked in the mirror?"
I walked over to the mirror and saw my hair all over the place. I laughed at myself as she stood behind me peeking into the mirror from the side.
I walked to the bathroom sink and wetted my hair so I could attempt to fix it. Brooke laughed," you spend more time on your hair than you do doing alpha duties."
I laughed," like it doesn't take you a hour to do your hair and makeup."
She laughed again and said," I'm a girl, that's usual. And I have something growing inside me."
I laughed and said" so now our baby is a something?"
She giggled and nodded. I kissed her stomach and finished my hair.
She laughed as I followed her out the room.
I asked," speaking of babies, what about the nursery? are we going to start to buy things for the room?"
She laughed her adorable laughed and tugged me down the hall.
The room wasn't empty anymore, it was filled with boxes. She laughed," I painted so you can put together the crib, changing table, and dresser.
I laughed," your crazy right?"
She smiled and handed me a screw driver, hammer, nails, and screws.
I got to work quickly because I wanted it done and over with. I finished the last piece of the crib when I heard a scream and ran to the bedroom where Brooke was on the floor screaming and crying in pain.
