Chapter 8

Lucy's POV--

I walked into the bat cave to find Tim and Dick down there. 

"Hello Lucy." Dick said waving.

"Hello Dick. How are you?" 

"I'm great! So I heard you're helping us out this time?"

"Ya, that's the plan." 

"We'll get him Lucy."

"I believe that."

I looked at Tim. He looked back with a sullen look on his face. 

"As we saw the other day the Joker was in hand with Riddler. The Joker has been dormant for a while now. " Dick said. 

"Gotham Zoo." Damian said. 

"What?" Tim asked. 

"He's at the Gotham Zoo. Recent reports and sighting point to him being at Gotham Zoo. " 

"Did anyone see the Riddler there?" I put my hand on the chair Damian was in. 

"No because he was captured two hours ago by Batwoman." Damian turned around in his chair. 

"Suit up?" Dick asked. 

"Suit up." Bruce said. 

Damian got up and I took his chair. 

"Are you not joining us tonight Lucy?" Tim asked. 

"Of course she isn't Tim.  I'm not sure if you know this but she doesn't suit up." Dick said. 

"Well she did last night. When we went to rescue Bruce and Damian." 

"You got Lucy out of the basement?" Dick asked with a surprised smile on his face.

"yeah."

"wow, you must of made a great impression on her."

"well i'm not sure about that Dick."

"I can't be that bad Tim." I could feel Dick's eyes looking into the back of my head.

"Let's go guys." Bruce said. 

They walked to the vehicles. I got up. 

"Hey Tim!" 

He stopped and turned around. 

"Yeah?" 

"I wanted to say that I am sorry for what I said. I didn't actually want you to leave." 

"No. no you were right to ask me to leave. I was prying." 

"I really wanted us to get off on a better foot than we did." 

"Me too."

"Do you still think that it could be a possibility?" 

"Of course Lucy. I would love that." 

His smirk came back and he left to join the others. I walked back to the computers.

"Seeing them off Mistress Lucy?" Alfred asked. 

"you could say that Alfred. you could say that."
