Harleen's POV--

I walked through Arkham Asylum hallways. Days of my past haunting my every step. I came to the door of my next patient.

"Your ID Dr. Quinzel." I handed the guard my ID. He scanned it. "Here you go."

He opened the door. I started to walk in but stopped. I took a deep breath and continued on.

My patient was in the corner. You could hear the quiet notes of a song. As my heels clicked on the floor his voice grew louder and the song became more distinguishable.

"Hush Little baby don't say a word. Mama's gonna kill for you the whole damn world."

"Jack Napier. I see that you have finally joined us again at Arkham. Welcome back. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was your Doctor during your last stay here."

"And if they don't laugh at our jokes, Momma's gonna stab out their goddamn throats." He started laughing, "Hello Doctor."

"So today we are going to go through some routine questions. "

"Harley Quinn. Harley Quinn. I knew you couldn't stay away from me. "

"Mr. Napier Please, Tell me about yourself."

"Come to free me again Harley?"

"I'm afraid you have me mistaken for someone else."

"Harley Quinn."

"Dr. Quinzel to my patients, Only my friends call me Harley."

"Aren't we friends Doctor?"

"No, you are my patient Mr. Napier."

He started laughing.

"Okay." I grabbed my clipboard from the table, "Let's see if you will cooperate tomorrow."

"Harley! Harley! Harley!"

I walked back to the door. It took a lot of strength to walk away.

"Give him two rounds of shock therapy and I will see him tomorrow."

"Of course Dr. Quinzel. Your niece is here, we put her upstairs in the viewing room."

"yes, thank you." I opened the door and walked up the stairs.

" What are you doing here?" I asked her.

She turned away from the window.

"I came to see you."

"I see that, but why?"

"I've heard nothing of you since that day."

"It was safer."

"Okay."

"You look good, and happy."

"I am, very happy. But what about you?"

"I'm fine."

"Sure, I guess I have to believe it, because if you weren't fine you wouldn't have him as your patient." She gestured to the glass.

I didn't say anything.

"What was he singing. I've heard that version before."

"You have. i sang it to you when you were born."

"You did?"

"Yes, before I gave you up. I continued to sing it when he would hurt me. it made me think of when I was happiest. When you were in my arms. He knows it bring the memories back. It's all apart of his sick plan."

"Make sure he stays locked up."Lucy said.

She walked to the door and left. As I stood there all I could hear was his singing.

"And once the poison does it's job,

Momma's gonna show you you're legacy.

And if the world still tries to fight,

Momma's gonna burn their houses down.

And if you grow up with his smile,

Momma's gonna be so...proud of you...."
