Damian's POV--
"My mother is far more dangerous than my father wants to admit. She gets what she wants. She has made up her mind to rule the world with him at her side and me to inherit her empire."
I started pacing the room.
"And you both rejected her." Alfred put his headset down.
"I can't just stay here and watch it all go crashing down, I have to get out there." I put my arms to my side.
"Damian, it's better if you stay." Lucy turned her chair.
"Grayson always disobeyed father when he was in my shoes Lucy." I pointed at Grayson's suit.
"Doesn't make it right Damian. Stay, Please." Her eyes were endearing.
I moved my fist to the palm of my hand to pop my knuckles, "Lucy. Only I can stop this. Only I can end this mess."
"How? Like you said, your mother is dangerous," She shot up, "There is no stopping her. You've seen what she has done already. How can you end this madness?"
"I am her son." I looked at her.
"She'll kill you, you said so yourself."
Lucy reached her hand out and grabbed my arm.
"All of this," I pointed to the screen, "Is why Batman needs Robin, All of this is why I need to be out there."
"Damian, Bruce sa--"
"I don't give a shit what he said Lucy! He's wrong. You're wrong. I am the answer! Keeping me under lock and key won't solve anything! She'll kill them, Then come collect me. She needs her successor. I need to go out there to prove you wrong! To prove my father that he is wrong about me!"
She looked shocked and released my arm.
"Master Bruce has been wrong before Mistress Lucy."Alfred walked over to us.
Lucy pointed at me, "You're okay with this Alfred?"
"Yes." He put his hands on my shoulder with an encouraging smile
"Bruce told you to keep him here."
Alfred walked over to the screen and grabbed his headset again, Placing it in his ear.
"I'll tell him that you overpowered me sir." He walked over to Lucy.
"Alfred." Lucy looked at him.
He gently put his hand on her shoulder. Her eyes softened as she turned back to me.
"Okay."

Lucy walked up as I put on my mask.
"Be safe?"
"Of course." I smiled at her.
"I'll see you again right?"
"What kind of question is that?" I laughed and embraced her.
"I know," she smiled and stared at me, "I love you."
"I love you." I kissed her.
"Master Damian, The jet suit is ready."
"Thank you Pennyworth." I walked passed him.
I climbing into the suit.
"Your father's proud of you Damian. You know that?" I looked up at Alfred.
Before putting the helmet on I said, "Watch after her Pennyworth."
"Of course sir."
