"ARE YOU SURE SHE won't wake up?" Peter asked quietly.
James, Peter, and Remus were standing over Vanessa's friend, Anna's sleeping form. Peter standing closer to her, a pair of scissors and a glass vial in his hands.
"Yes! The spell we put on her will knock her out for about six hours" James whisper-yelled, "Now, go on. The potion is almost ready and I would like to execute this as soon as possible."
"I agree, I don't think I can stand any more of this." Remus said nodding, "Go on Peter."
Peter closed his eyes as he cut off a little bit of Anna's hair and putting it in the vial. "Is this enough?" Peter asked quietly.
"Yeah. That will do, only one of us will drink it anyways." James said, "Now hurry up."
James, Peter, and Remus headed up to the second floor girl's lavatory, the place they had been meeting for about a month now.
"Good thing nobody comes here. Good thinking Moony." James said entering the lavatory where they had been brewing Polyjuice Potion.
"Okay, it's almost ready. I just need to add one more ingredient." Remus said getting lacewings from his bag and adding a scoop of it to the cauldron. He stirred the potion three times, counter clockwise. "Peter, Anna's hair please."
"Here you go, Remus." Peter said, handing Remus the vial containing Anna's hair.
Remus added a strand of it to the potion and waved his wand, taking a deep breath. "It's ready."
"Alright, who's drinking this thing?" James asked.
"Not me." Peter and Remus said at the same time.
"Well one of us has to pretend to be Anna and I say that it should be Moony." James suggested.
"What?" Remus asked, surprised at James' suggestion. "Why me?"
"You do better under pressure. You're better with words than I am, you'll think of what to say faster than I can."
"You're a better actor than I am!" Remus protested, "Besides, I did most of the brewing for that potion. I honestly don't like the look of that potion and I don't want to know how it tastes either." He said, looking over at the bubbling cauldron.
"Fine." James reluctantly agreed. "Let's go over the plan."
"Okay. James will take the potion to become Anna and lead Vanessa near the black lake. Peter will go to Sirius and say something terrible happened and lead her to the black lake. I, on the other hand, will take Ara there. Once we're there, James as Anna will somehow get Vanessa to talk on how she's controlling Sirius and Sirius and Arabella will be there to hear it." Remus explained, going over each point carefully.
"Alright, Operation PJP is officially underway." James said nervously.
"Let's hope we don't mess this up."
Peter took out some of James Hogwarts robes and uniform and transfigured them to look like Anna's.
"Alright James, bottoms up." Remus said, handing James a vial of the potion.
James drank the potion in one swift gulp. The taste made him want to spit it out, "Tastes like goblin piss." James grimaced.
