(Killian's POV)

I regain consciousness slowly and I open my eyes to see a large mirror in front of me. The glass fogs over and I can see Emma sleeping. Tears flow down her face and her body writhes around. She is having another nightmare. I want to hold her and wake her up to make sure she can forget the horrors that are taunting her.

"The pathetic thing." Cora snickers as she approaches with a dagger in hand.

I keep my mouth shut trying to maintain a straight face. I can't let her get to me.

"Silence will not stop me from hurting her. Feel free to retaliate."

Still nothing. Screaming at her won't help.

"Fine. Torture it is then." My eyes widen as she uses her magic to make the blade of the dagger glow bright orange with heat. "Now what shall you lose first." Her eyes land on my left hand. "Killian Jones never to wed the woman he loves. All thanks to me." She smiles before raising the dagger and slicing through my wrist. I scream in agony as my hand falls to the floor. A seething pain shoots up my arm. Through my pain, I don't fail to notice that Emma woke up.

And to my surprise;

She grabbed her wrist.

(Emma's POV)

"Killian?" I am surrounded by darkness. "Killian where are you?"

"He's gone." I hear an eerily familiar voice call.

"What did you do to him Cora?" The scene floods with warm candlelight and I can see my surroundings. I am in my wedding dress with the full get up. There is a dark patch where the light doesn't touch near the back wall. Killian.

"I needed to ruin your life in every possible way so I disposed of your overrated boy toy." She waved her hand to reveal the dark patch where Killian lays surrounded by blood. I can see him breathing but he is barely holding onto life.

"KILLIAN!" I scream while trying to run to him but I find myself incapable of doing so. My hands are bonded in my front to a chain that Cora is holding. So familiar. "Just let me say goodbye!" I sob. She releases her hold on me and I rush over to his body. I caress his beaten up face. "I am so sorry Killian. How did I ever let this happen?"

"Come find me. Help me. I'm not there." He croaks out before falling unconscious. His pulse slowly fades and I scream in agony.

I have to catch my breath when I wake up. I grab my left wrist as an odd pain shoots through it. Almost like a burn. Tears are falling down my face. My body aches from the emotion where it all seemed so real. I can't let go of those words.

'Come find me. Help me. I'm not there.'

What could that mean? Killian is laying right beside me. I haven't had a nightmare since the night we started sleeping together. He is facing away from me which is a bit odd. He always faces me when we sleep. I shake him to wake him up a little.

"Killian. Hold me." He rubs his eyes before grunting.

"Come here." He wraps his arm around my shoulders.

I was expecting him to say something about the tears falling down my face or why I woke up in the middle of the night. That's Killian. Always looking out for me and my well being. Making sure I'm safe.

But he doesn't.

I decide to test this. I slowly shut my eyes and pretend to drift off to sleep. A small, fake snore exits my mouth. Many follow to complete the effect.
