chapter 3 *The untold*

The family was busy discussing about the musical night. It was only Alvira who was lost in her thoughts .She forcefully made herself eat something, because if she didn't , the family would have showered her with loads of questions and HE would think that Alvira still gets affected by his presence.

After thinking for a while, Alvira took a decision. She made an oath to herself that she won't think about the past and will do what she came to do here - enjoy the wedding. She is a strong woman now and she won't let anyone play with her this time. She then quickly finished her breakfast and joined everyone in the Hall.

The moment she entered the hall she was awestruck by the decorations. The hall was beautifully decorated with white and sky blue flowers. It was indeed a pleasant sight for the eyes. They all now got seated on the sofas. Minahil's rest of the relatives also arrived and now they were all greeting and meeting each other.
After a while they left for their rooms to get fresh and chaudary shahab also asked the kids to go and get ready for the day.

"Minahil can you show Asher and Sameer their room please? I have an important call to make "
Jibran asked Minahil.

"Sure bro "she replied.

Since all the youngsters were allotted rooms on the same floor , the girls squad along with Sameer and Asher now started walking In the same direction . They all stepped into the lift now. Alvira could feel her heartbeat fading once again because he was right beside her. Suddenly Sameer came right beside her and hugged her from the side.

"AVI AVI AVI AVI, I can't tell you how happy I am to see you here. I missed you so much." Sameer said.
Alvira was now smiling.

"I missed you too Sameer. It feels so good to meet you after a year "she replied.

The lift was now on the 8th floor now. They all started walking towards their rooms in the hallway.

The moment Alvira saw her room; she very carefully increased her speed and reached her room taking long strides. She didn't want anyone to notice that she wants to get away from everyone as soon as possible.. The moment she entered the room, she closed the door and locked it. She didn't want anyone to disturb her.

She was sitting on her knees now. Her face supported by her palms and her eyes flowing rivers of tears. The happenings of that day were once again in front of her eyes. It was like she could see everything happening once again; Right from the start. She once again was facing the same condition she used to face few months back. This emotional breakdown was nothing new to her.

Usually people who face breakdowns or panic attacks have friends or family who help them recovering. Alvira was so unfortunate that she didn't have anyone to help her. Every time she was her own savior. She was blessed with caring friends but this truth of her life was unknown to them as well. Even after trying hard to convince herself to speak the truth she couldn't tell her friends about this. It was not that they would judge her but telling and accepting the truth made Alvira think that she was an unlucky girl. Ever since her mother died of cancer when she was 10, her father raised her alone. He was madly in love with his wife and became a depressed person after his wife's demise. He used to tell Alvira that he too wishes to join her mother but cannot do so because Alvira is still a small child. He died of heart failure a week after Alvira turned 18. After her parents left her, Asher's family -The Maliks - became her last resort. They were related since her childhood. She lived with them for 2 years. Everything was in place but then her worst nightmares became reality. She had to leave them as well. She left Malik house and was now living alone since a year.
Alvira had to take antidepressants and anti anxiety to get out of the trauma. After a lot of struggle she managed to live a normal life.

"NO I WILL NOT LET ANYONE TAKE AWAY MY PEACE THIS TIME. I HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO LIVE MY LIFE PEACEFULLY. I WONT LET MY PAST HAUNT MY PRESENT. I WONT LET ANYONE RUIN MY VACATIONS .I CAME HERE TO ENJOY AND I WILL DO THAT WITHOUT GETTING AFFECTED BY ANYONE.
I have managed to live my life after a lot of struggle, this time no one can hurt me. I will not allow anyone to take advantage of my goodness this time "

After shedding tons of tears and having an emotional breakdown, Alvira now stood up, wiped her tears and opened her suitcase to select her clothes for the afternoon.
