Chapter 22 " Reality Check"

Fariha called the Mehndi Artist after they finished breakfast. Alvira was seated in one corner of the hall and the Artist started applying mehndi on her hands. The other family members were seated in the hall too and they were planning on how to spend the day. It was decided that it will be a rest day so that the bride and groom get fresh for the big day.

Minahil, Amara and Zara were seated beside Alvira and they were all busy deciding about their clothes for the day.

"Let me call Ebad and he will tell us what suits Minahil" Amara said teasingly.

"Why don't you take out some time and die "Minahil scoffed.

"Shut up you two" Alvira intruded.

"Opps , sorry we forgot that you might want to spend time with your prince charming" Zara said playfully.

Alvira passed her a "Whatever" look when suddenly out of nowhere the devil appeared.

"Talking about me?" Asher said smirking.

The girls giggled hearing his remark and ran out of the scene. They decided to give the duo some time alone, so that they sort out their differences.

Alvira face palmed herself mentally when she realized that she is left alone with Asher.

"So? Are you getting my name on your hands?"Asher said while gazing her hands.

"Yes, in your dreams" Alvira said mockingly.

"You don't wanna know about my dreams beautiful" Asher whispered in her ear.

Alvira's breath was caught in her throat. Asher's husky voice and his closeness heated her cheeks immediately.

She was unable to understand what was wrong with her. She was never like this but she had started blushing frequently these days. Asher's one touch was enough to make her red like a tomato.

"You should throw away your blushes love. I am enough to make your cheeks pink" Asher said, making her blush more.

Alvira's mehndi was done so instead of replying him she stood up and tried to run away but her foot got tangled with the sheet. She landed in his arms as expected.

Luck was not on her side these days. She wanted to run away from him but her destiny made sure she ended with him only.

She could see a smirk forming on his face.

"Asher leave me "She tried getting herself free.

"The universe wants you in my arms too" Asher winked

"Asher!!!!" Alvira was successful getting herself free after some struggle. She quickly glanced to see if someone noticed this and to her dismay Fariha did and she even winked at her and then got engrossed in talking with someone.

Alvira felt embarrassed and thus she ran out of the hall as quickly as possible. On the other hand Asher stood rooted at his place, admiring her vanishing figure.

Alvira decided to join her girls in minahil's room when she heard Zara's voice.

She was trying to control her laugh while talking on phone. The instance she saw Alvira, her laughter vanished.

"OK stop now, I gota go now, Allah Hafiz" She disconnected the call.

Alvira raised her eyebrow suspiciously.
