Chapter 13 * Drunk Alvira*

Alvira was lost in her thoughts after her encounter with Asher. She was walking in the lobby without even realizing that she might bump into someone, which she actually did soon. She bumped into jibran who was busy clicking a picture.

"Careful Alvira Careful "He said instantly.

Reality hit her finally. She quickly stepped away from Jibran. She didn't want Asher to see her with him. Although he was like her brother but after witnessing the fire in Asher's eyes she didn't want to take a chance. But the luck was not on her side that night. Jibran complimented her out of nowhere.

"By the way, you look gorgeous Alvira "He said with a smile. It was evident that Jibran complimented her with a pure intention but Alvira's eyes scanned the surrounding quickly to see if Asher was anywhere near. To her dismay, he was standing on the entrance of the hall and his gaze was on her only.

Alvira tried looking somewhere else. She quickly said a Thank you with a smile and ran towards her girls. Her friends and the rest of the family complimented her too. Her girls wore gowns as well and the squad was rocking the party with their looks. They clicked many pictures too. After a while Alvira observed Minahil's cousin looking at her and the same moment she felt a hand on her wrist too ; she recognized the touch immediately.

"I am gone. Asher would drag me to the room any moment now "Her heart started beating rapidly.

Asher came in front of her and was now facing her directly. Alvira was looking at him with pleading eyes. Alvira could feel that he will start walking any moment now .Asher, who was holding her wrist, softly dragged her towards the dance floor. It came as a shock to Alvira but she didn't protest. She voluntarily kept her hand on his shoulder when he held her from the waist. They were now in ball dance position. The music was already on roll. Asher started dancing and all Alvira could do was follow him.

"Asher what are you doing? Everyone is watching us "She pleaded, after she saw that most of the people in the hall were observing her including her friends.

"I warned you Avi. Didn't I?" Asher said with a winning smile.

"Asher you are literally making me suffer for nothing. If I am not saying anything that doesn't mean I am happy about whatever you are doing." Alvira was irritated now.

"I don't care Avi!!! I asked you not to wear this gown. I cannot bear any one ogling at you "Jealousy was evident in his eyes.

"Why Asher? Why can't you bear anyone looking at me?" Alvira asked with a smirk. She tricked Asher in his own words. He'll have to leave me or confess today, she thought.

"I am not answerable to you "Asher was an experienced player. He could never let her win.

"OK then I am leaving too "Alvira tried to free herself but Asher held her more tightly this time. Close enough to give people something to gossip about.

"Don't you dare protest princess. I am afraid that you won't like the consequences of leaving the dance floor " Asher said lovingly.

"What will you do if I leave? Don't blackmail me Asher " Alvira was angry now once again

"If you try to leave then I will kiss you right here in front of all the guests. You know me very well. I do what I say " Asher was smirking.

"Also don't even try giving me an angry glare. Keep smiling love" He said faking a smile.

He was enjoying the annoyed look on Alvira's face.

"I hate you Asher." Alvira said annoyingly. They kept dancing for few minutes until the DJ changed the sing to a fast beat song. Alvira finally took a sigh of relief and quickly left the dance floor running towards the drinks counter. She needed a glass of chilled juice to calm her nerves. She asked for a juice as soon as she reached the counter. A French client of Chaudary shahab also came there at that moment and he asked for cocktail. The waiter served both the glasses but Alvira was so annoyed that she held the wrong glass and gulped the drink in one go. She felt the burn in her throat the very next moment. Asher who saw all this from a distance now came running towards her. Alvira's head started spinning the moment she tried to focus on Asher, who was coming towards her. The moment Asher came near her Alvira stumbled. She was unable to stand properly due to the Alcohol, which was in that cocktail.

Asher quickly held her before anyone could notice. Alvira was holding her head in her hands. Luckily everyone was busy enjoying the party. Asher saw Minahil , Amara and Zara coming towards the counter and he quickly waved them. The girls saw Alvira holding her head and came running too thinking she was sick.

"She got drunk accidently" Asher said as soon as they came near him. This came as a shock for them but this was not the right time to think anything else . They had to take Alvira away from everyone.

"What now" They asked in union.

"We need to take her to her room." Asher said.

"Let's go " Zara said quickly. Alvira was numb at the moment and that is why she was not moving at all. They easily took her till the lift but as soon as they entered the lift ,Alvira hugged Asher.

"Asheeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! You are very bad Asher " She sounded drunk now. She was stammering.

"She will trouble us a lot tonight girls" Asher said worriedly.

They were now in the hallway when Alvira managed to get free from Asher's grip and started running. They all ran after her. Alvira quickly stood in front of Asher's room and the moment he came running she grabbed the card from his pocket and opened the door to his room. They all quickly followed her into the room.

"Alvira this is not your room. Please come with us to your room Avi" Asher was the first one to speak because the girls were blank.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I am not leaving this roommmmmmm. I will sleep here onlyyy!! Else I will dance in the corridor. The choice is yours Mr. Blackmailer!!! She lost her balance after saying this and landed on his bed. She started laughing loudly after that.

"Asher what will happen now? Will she get alright? " Minahil said worriedly.

"I hope so , but we can't force her for anything. We'll have to obey her words. For now go downstairs because your family might start looking for you. If they ask about me tell them my hand was paining so I came back and if they ask about Alvira, tell them that she was feeling dizzy so you left her in the room and she is sleeping now. I will try to convince her to go to her room meanwhile" Asher took a sign after looking at Alvira, who was still laughing.

The girls nodded and asked Asher to call them immediately of something is wrong. They didn't want to leave but it was important if they wanted the family to stay away from this matter.

After they left Asher now started thinking of how to handle a drunken Alvira.
