Pov Lauren
I slowly open my eyes. I look around me. What time is it? I look at the ground and see Amy laying on a mattress. Oh right, she stayed here because she didn't want to go back home yet. I understand her. The girls can be very hateful when they are mad.
Slowly I get out of bed. I look into the mirror at my appearance. It just home anyway, nobody will see me. I walk out of my room downstairs. Wait, did Dani ever come home? I didn't hear her last night.
Mom and dad weren't home till after midnight. They had a party or something. Dani was lucky they weren't home. Shall I look into her room?
Despite my doubts, I still walk back upstairs to her room. Slowly I open the door. I don't want to wake her if she is awake. And there she is, laying on her bed. She looks disgusting.
Well, comfortable. But not like someone should see her right now. Her hair is everywhere. Probably also in her mouth. Normally she put it into a bun or something when she goes to sleep. How late did she get home?
"Lauren?" A hoarse voice suddenly asks quietly. I startle. I look behind me to see Amy in her PJ's. Well, mine PJ's. It doesn't really fit her. But that's not the point here.
She grabs my arm and slowly pulls me out of Dani her room. "We need to help Dani", she immediately says when we reach my room. We sit together on my bed. What does she know? What happened?
"What's wrong?", I ask her worried for Dani. "She came home yesterday night, really late. And she was drunk", Amy says. Drunk? Was Dani drunk? That isn't something for her. She wouldn't do that!
Caitlin...
I'm going to kill that stupid little bitch. She is changing my spice.
"Lauren, don't get angry right now!", Amy pleads me. Oh, did I look angry? "What can we do?", I ask Amy obviously calming down. Amy shrugs her shoulders. "We need to have a good talk with her", she says. A good talk? I tried that. And it didn't work out.
"Lauren, it won't turn out like it went with the both of you. I will make sure that that doesn't happen", Amy says trying to make me agree with her plan. "I guess we can try", I say still unsure of this plan.
Dani is stubborn. She is not going to listen. Well, not if we just talk with her. This will probably not work.
"Lauren?", someone says from my door. I look at it and see a sleepily Dani in her PJ's, did she hear something? "What?", I ask her trying to get not mad. I want to get mad at her for what she did yesterday, but I don't want to fight. So I'm going to act like she didn't left me to walk home. A really long walk. For almost an hour. And I was afraid to call anyone...
I really need help.
"Where are the aspirins?", she asks me. Oh, she has a headache. Of course. I go to my own bedstand I pick up one pack of aspirins. I still had them from my last sickness. I was to lazy to bring them back to their normal place.
"Dani? Can we talk?", Amy asks Dani. I hand Dani the aspirins. Dani nods her head while walking to my bathroom to take the aspirins with some water.
"I'm back, what do you want to talk about?", she asks while walking back like she knows from nothing. She was drunk yesterday. Amy saw it with her own eyes! And I believe her.
"Dani you were drunk yesterday", Amy says. Dani looks shocked. Like really shocked.
"How drunk?", she asks. Does she really doesn't know how drunk she was? Or is she just playing?
"Uhm... Really drunk. Maybe even to drunk to remember that you was drunk", Amy says really confused. "What do you remember from yesterday?", I ask her. "Going to Caitlin", she says like it's no big deal.
"Dani. You need to stop drinking", Amy says. Dani looks uneasy. "I can't", she says while staring at her shoes.
"Why?", I ask her. She isn't addicted to it. I know that for sure. "Caitlin...", she says while staring at the ground and for a moment I wanted to get mad.
It's always about Caitlin! Caitlin isn't a good friend! Caitlin is a bitch!
But Amy stops me. Because she know I was getting mad.
"Dani, you know you can make your own decisions right? And if Caitlin doesn't let you make those decisions. Maybe you should stop being friends with them", Amy says. Dani looks relieved no one got mad. "I-I... Really want to but...", she wants to continue but doesn't do it.
"What Dani? You can tell us everything?", I decide to say. "She is black mailing me", she says while staring at the ground. That isn't a big surprise for me.
Caitlin did it before.
"With what?", Amy asks her. "She has some money and she says she is going to tell everyone what I did. Everyone. Mom, dad, you guys. I don't want to look like a bad person", she is on the verge of crying. "Dani, you need to stop this. If you continue you will do only more things you are going to regret", I plead her. She needs to stop.
"But how?", she asks me. "Just don't hang out anymore. And you probably have to tell mom and dad. Better now. Then to find out through some horrible way", I say again. Amy is looking at us.
"Thank you Lauren", Dani says while giving me a hug. "Thank you Amy", she says while going to Amy and giving her a hug to. Then she stands up.
Is it just me or is this confusing?
"Dani? What are you going to do?" I ask her curious.
"The right thing"

It looks like things are going to get better ;). But what will Dani exactly do? How will the girls act towards Amy when she get home?
