The day had come when Jeff and Krystal and Jerry , had to move to a new area. Jeff promised the boy that after this, things would be normal and that he would let him live a decent teenage life.

Krystal, did not believe that at all. But, she literally couldn't escape due to the shock collar activating after she runs 10 minutes from the nearest area. She'd tried it plenty.

Jeff came in covered in blood and Krystal felt her eye twitch.

"Thought you said, no more murder."

She stated as she looked him up and down and he shook his finger in her face.

"Ah ah, I said. No more murder, in the house. We ain't in a house. Are we?"

He said tauntingly . Jerry on the other hand, didn't seem to be overly bothered. They would be moving and he'd finally be able to make friends and live relatively normal. This made him overly happy.

After helping to dispose of the corpse, they boarded the camper van and then got into their seating positions. Jeff made Krystal ride up front with him, while Jerry was in the back. The girl frowned.

"What , let you in the back, where you can easily jump out and rat me to the cops. No way."

He said as he began to set the gears in position. Jeff had to admit, he was actually happy that they were leaving this area. Maybe a new scenery was what they needed, after all, he still planned on making Jerry a killer. With no ties to anyone, he wouldn't have any capacity to care.

"Say, buh bye house, hello road trip!"

With no warning, the killer put it in full throttle and they roared away with a loud screech. Krystal clung to the chair and indadvertedly to the mans waist. He let out a laugh and looked at the kid , who was clinging to a chair as well.

"YYYEEEEHHHAAAWWWWW!"

Jeff yelled as he revved the car up more. This was the life, on the road and nothing to worry about. Krystal tugged on his hoodie and he looked down at her, trying to make out what she was saying. He looked back at the kid and then grinned .

"WHHHATTTTT YOU WANNA BANG IN THE FRONT, BUT THE KIDS HERE."

Jerry looked mortified and so did the girl , she pushed away from him and sat with her arms folded. She then began to yell at him , calling him an irresponsible adult. Jeff merely shrugged and then looked at her.

"Should know me by now, I've never been sensible."

He smirked as they continued to drive.

It had well passed from the day to the evening and they decided to stop for the moment. Jerry stretched his legs and sat down on one of the big rocks. Jeff and Krystal were sitting by the lake and not speaking. Both of them were feeling rather awkward for some reason.

"..So, finally moved..huh.."

The girl said as she threw a stone into the lake, Jeff just sat back . There was a very strange feeling in his stomach and he hated it with a passion.

"Yep.."

He murmured and just rocked. Why was this so strange, he'd seen plenty of her before and it didn't affect him, so why was this suddenly making him so nervous. Krystal stood up and let out a breath.

"Jeff, we need to talk about your anger."

Oh boy, here she goes..was all Jeff thought as he sat up from the tree, ready to hear an earful once again. But all he felt was Krystal hugging him and then once again, he became utterly numb.

It was like clockwork with her...one moment she was shouting and then she's hugging him, what the hell was she playing at? Jeff couldn't make sense of it at all.

"I won't pretend to know, the struggles that you're facing..."

She said to him and he was now more lost than ever.

"...but you can't keep on treating me like this, I want to help you. I do. But if you continue to push me away, I won't ever be able to do that."

Krystal said to him as she held his face in her hands and he just stared at her where they stood. He lightly pushed her away and shook his head.

"You fuck up my head...you know that."

Jeff said as he turned away from her and took some breaths. Turning back round, he began to walk towards her and she for once, didn't try and stop him or defend herself. She just watched as he walked forward and gripped her shoulders. His face came closer and closer until she thought he was breathing on her. It was then that he whispered.

"Too easy."

With a shove, the girl fell with a splash into the lake and Jerry ran over, seeing his father near the edge, he dashed forward and attacked his legs, making him fall into the lake too. Jeff growled and dragged the boy in as he fell . They all started to laugh and splash around.

"Now this, this is what family is all about!"

Jerry said as he remembered the pictures from the book that he'd read. Jeff and Krystal were laughing too, maybe, just maybe...this was really the thing they'd needed to bring them closer.

Jeff knew , however that the fun had to end, and...when they settled...he'd be back to training him ...so for now.. He could let the kid live a little.

"Yea, sure is..kiddo..."

---

In the morning, they began to drive once more and Krystal was actually more relaxed this time. She didn't make any fuss about sitting with him and Jerry was happily drawing in the back of the van.

Jeff was keeping his eyes on the road when something lunged out and they collided with it. Krystal hit her air bag and Jerry bashed his head off of the ground, knocking him out. Jeff looked around to see what they hit and... No.. Couldn't be...

".....Smile?"

Dun dun dunnnnnn

So, seemed the dog followed them back from the Nega realm.

Jerry is unconsious, and you know what that could mean right...

Least they all had one nice family night.
