16.Birthday

"Just tell me you jerk" I said.

"Just guess"

"You know I hate guessing things, Bart"

"Well you would just have to wait"

"I hate you" I said jokingly.

As soon as I said that,  Bart frowned but quickly changed his expression.

I looked out the window of  Bart's mum's 2015 GMC Acadia.

"Will you two stop talking like old couples? " Ian said finally putting the last of the picnic basket in the trunk.

He finally shut the trunk and got into his car. We were riding to somewhere I didn't know. Obviously, Bart changed his mind and we were not more going to the park, we were going somewhere else as a group for my birthday.

I was going to sit in the seat behind, but Char pushed me to the passenger's seat next to Bart.

"Who is ready to party?!"Char shouted.

"Oh baby, you know me more than I do" Ian said and I gasped.

"You said baby, you guys are dating" I said clearly shocked and put my hand over my mouth.

I looked around and everyone looked at me with blank expressions, Bart gave me a dead panned look.

"Gosh I'm so oblivious, everyone else knows" I said.

"Well, um.. I was going to tell you later" Char said suddenly turning red.

"It's okay, but Ian. You may be my friend, but if you break her heart I will break your face" I said looking at Ian.

When we were driving, I realized we were on a deserted mountain. I stretched my hand out of the window of the car and Ian put out his head and howled like a wolf.

Char slapped his head into the car.

"Tes are you okay?"

"Yes I am" I answered Bart's question.

"Remind me why you call her Tes and not Tessa like everyone else" Randy said smirking.

Bart gave Randy a scary knowing look as if to say shut up.

"Boys are so immature sometimes" I said and sighed.

"I know right?" Joby said and chuckled earning her an amused look from Terah which she didn't realize.

"If you guys try to kill me on my birthday, I will personally kill you all myself, bury your bodies and call it self defense" I threatened as I kept seeing deserted mountain leading to nowhere.

"I am so hurt that you think I will actually kill you" Liv murmured.

"At least not with Bart in the car" she said teasingly causing everyone to throw her a glare and me a confused look.

What are they all hiding they've been trying to tell me something with an unknown body language.

"Tes we are here" Bart said as he shook me awake.

"Oh, I slept" I said and yawned.

"No, you closed your eyes and died for a while" Ian said.

I rolled my eyes, got out of the car and stretched my hands but then I froze at the sight before me.

They took me to a waterfall, with a beautiful view.

"How did you find these place" I said.

"We went for a field trip when we were in middle school and Ian being his stupid self ran out of the group, so Terah, Randy, Liv, Bart and I had to look for him, then we found this place"
