When I woke up the next morning everyone was already awake and running around. Lindsey saw me and rushed over. "Finally, you're awake! We've been waiting forever! Come on, let's get you some food." She said and ran out of the room. I sat there for a moment, confused, until she ran back in and impatiently motioned for me to follow her.

I followed her down the steps and through several confusing hallways, until we finally got to the kitchen. I sat at the dining table while she heated up leftovers from what they ate while I was asleep. "How long have you all been awake?" I asked, starting to wake up. "Since 5, you didn't miss much. Fara still hasn't given us the tour yet, but Violet showed us where the training room was."

I quickly ate my food and rinsed off my plate. When Lindsey saw that I was finished she grabbed my arm and ran down about 15 more confusing hallways. Here we go again, I thought as I almost crashed into a wall while trying to keep up with Lindsey.

Lindsey finally stopped at a huge, black door with strange engravings on them. She put her left hand on the door and motioned for me to do the same. I expected something super cool to happen, like the door lighting up and disappearing as we entered the room, but then I heard a click and Lindsey opened the door. All of that anticipation just to unlock a door? Not. Cool. But when I looked up I saw something far cooler then a magical door.

Violet and Vanessa were standing on a super high beam about 100 feet in the air, no joke, and were fighting with swords as well as their wind powers. Roxie and Kaley were fighting to get to the top of a confusing ropes course, using their powers as well. Lindsey saw my look of wonder and smiled. "We should get started." She said. "But, you don't have any powers?" I asked, confused about how we'd be able to fight. "I don't need powers. I've practiced karate since I was 7 and gymnastics since I was 5, I'm more worried about you." She said and jogged over to a huge, enclosed area.

I ran after her and entered the surrounded space. "So how is this supposed to work?" I asked. "We are going to work on your fighting and agility skills, no magic." Lindsey said. "You might want to go change into your training outfit. It's in the "locker room" area behind the huge beam." She said and I ran over to the locker room. I found my outfit hung on the door and went in to change. It was a red t-shirt and black leggings. I looked around for the shoes, and found a pair of black Nike's laying in the corner and put them on.

I ran back out to find Lindsey stretching. She looked up and stood up straight. "Ok, are you ready?" She asked me. I nervously nodded. She smiled and said,

"Let's begin"
