After I learned that surprising news Violet disappeared, surprise surprise, and I was left to think about what I'd just learned. I couldn't believe what I just heard. How could the Presidents daughter be an Elemental? I mean, obviously I know how, but how could she keep that a secret? Her life is so public even aliens from Mars know everything about her.

All of my feelings of nervousness suddenly vanished as I realized how much harder she had it then I did. I only know about 10 people and I've already told two of them. She has a whole phone book of contacts and no one knows. Wait.... Presidents Daughter..... this is gonna be hard.

I woke up refreshed and ready for the day. The night before I kinda figured out a plan.

Step 1: Ask Roxie for a tour (even though I already took one)
Step 2: Ask if we can go outside for some fresh air
Step 3: Talk to her about the Elementals

It sounded like a disaster-proof plan the night before. Now I'm not so sure. I decided to call Lindsey and ask for her opinion. I apologized for not going dress shopping with her, but she said it was alright and she got me a dress too. Then I told her about Roxie and my plan. "What?! That's insane!" She said, then started rambling about how amazing yet crazy this was. "Slow down Lindsey! Do you think it's a good plan?" I asked her before she dropped the phone from all of her excitement. "It's a great plan! I get to go with you right?" She asked. "Of course! Can you come over now so we can get ready together?" I replied. "Sure! I hope it's ok if I bring Ally? She can play with Gaby while we get ready." She said. I told her it was a great idea and then hung up.

My dad walked downstairs dressed in a suit and tie. "Hi sweetheart. Who were you talking to?" He asked. I told him I was talking to Lindsey and that she'd be over in a couple minutes. "Well tell her I said hi. I have to go to a meeting with Abigail about our next digging site. See you in a couple hours." He said then gave me a hug before walking out the door. Abigail is his "partner in archeologist crime", that's what he calls her. They met at his job interview and have been working together ever since. Gaby told me that Abigail had a "crush" on him, and that Abigail told her that at their last tea party.

Every Saturday Abigail comes over and has a tea party with Gaby and Ally. A few minutes after my Dad left, Lindsey walked in. "Hey Haily! I brought our dresses and my makeup bag! Can't wait to get ready!" She said and set down her things on a nearby chair. Her sister ran in, holding a unicorn stuffed animal in one arm and a teddy bear in the other. "Gaby!!!!" She called and ran down the hall to my sisters room. Me and Lindsey burst out laughing as she left a trail of sparkles behind.

Me and Lindsey went up to my room and got ready. "I can't wait to meet Roxie! I heard she's best friends with the secretary's daughter, Kaley Pines." Lindsey said as she flipped through a magazine. "Wouldn't it be cool if Kaley was an elemental too?" She asked. "Well it would make my job easier." I replied with a laugh. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking about different things until my dad arrived.

"Girls! Time to go!" He called. We all went to the door and waited for the limo to arrive. "I'm so excited for you girls to meet Roxie! She's very kind and loves making new friends. You'll get along perfectly!" My dad said as the limo pulled up. We walked outside and got inside the limo.

As the limousine pulled out of the driveway I saw a mysterious figure in dark cloak standing at the edge of the forest. All I could see was that they had a lightening bolt birthmark on their wrist and was holding a purple orb. She looked up and smiled wickedly.

"My father awaits your arrival. Don't be late."
