One cut along the back, two for good measure

Cammie POV

When I am wake up my senses are on high alert. Something is wrong, I can feel it in my bones. I look to the guest chairs and see Zach and Josh are fast asleep. I quickly pull the drip out of my hand and swing my body over the bed. I power myself until my feet but the floor.

Pain, so much pain.

I start to put one foot in front of the other, aka walking. The pain blinds me yet I force myself to carry on. I slowly open the door, making sure I don't create any sort of noise that might wake Zach or Josh up. Once outside I find myself in a secret passage.

Oh, perfect.

I head, slowly I might add, towards a wall. I shift my body until I am leaning against it. I use the wall to help guide myself along the passage. Once about 7 meters away from the door, I hear a click and I feel myself falling into annempty good in past the wall.

A secret passage.

I feel myself falling, falling and falling until my body lands on the soft curves of a mattress.

I stay there, lung on the mattress. My body is exhausted and I am starting to feel the effects of taking my drip out. My eyes dart around my eyeballs, checking everything in the near vicinity.

That's when I realise, this mattress is new. I start up, my head looking everywhere.

I am in an empty room, filled with doors.

There are different doors on all the walls, all with a letter on the front. There are 16 in total, so A to P. I head towards A, I open the door and I find an empty...

An empty tortured room! The name Ava stands out in bold letters on a key card, on a desk? There is a chair in the middle of the room with cuffs by the hands and legs. You then look around to find all sort of torture instruments.

Even poison.

The worst part is that there is spilled blood all over the chair. I got back to the desk tower a document. I read the first few words and feel sick to the stomach.

Ava has died of losing to much blood. It is a shame that we didn't get the information out of her, but it wasn't the most important information.

I can't read anymore so I turn my body back to the door and leave.

I then go to the next door, B. My eyes immediately land on the key card.

Bex.

There are no documents anywhere, just a sign that says, 'Not caught yet'. Tears force themselves to the edge of my eyelids. I decide to leave, I can't stand the thought of Bex being tortured. I leave and stupidly go to the next room.

As I open the door, my eyes land on the key card.

Cammie.

My heart falls to my stomach and just as I am about to leave, I hear the sound of somebody landing on the mattress. I hear screams, three very familiar screams also going and then the loud oomph of them landing on the mattress. I peak my eyes through the door and see three men dragging a sack each. A sack filled with a person.

One goes to B, one to L and the last to M.

No, no no no no NO!

I immediately run to the torture equipment and I spot a gun.

Of course they have a gun, to finish me off once they have gotten whatever it is they want from me.

I head out and run to the mattress.

It is the best vantage point.

Then, I start to scream.

Zach POV

O wake up from my short snooze, very very slowly. My eyes don't want to open but they also want to check on Cammie. As I force my eyes to open, even with how heavy my eyelids are, my eyes drift off to Josh.

What an idiot, he was supposed to keep an eye on Cammie.

Then my eyes drift off to the bed!

Flip! She's gone!

I shake Josh awake and he stumbles up. He looks at me and the at the bed. His eyes go wide when he realises whom we are missing. We start for the door and end up in the corridor. We both scream her name at the top of our lungs.

The name of the girl whom is hurt.

The name of the girl who ran away.

The name of the girl we both love.
