When Scorpius gets back to the dormitory, Albus is asleep. He decides to wake him up.
"Albus, wake up! I found something amazing, I want you to see it!" Scorpius says, shaking his friend awake.
"Can't it wait until tomorrow? I'm trying to sleep." Albus says groggily.
"Remember that mirror your dad found in his first year? Well I found it, and I want you to come see it!" Scorpius says excitedly.
"You found it? Rad! What did you see?" Albus asks hopefully, getting out of bed.
"Er-" Scorpius hesitates. "I saw me getting married, to my crush. I'm still not telling you who it is, though." Scorpius states.
"Ah, okay. Let's go I guess. I have James' invisibility cloak, you can lead the way." Albus says, a tinge of disappointment on his voice.
Scorpius just nods as Albus grabs the cloak. They go under it, and Scorpius lead the way.

"This is the room of requirement!" Albus whispers quietly. Scorpius was too tired to question what that meant, so he just continued to walk in.
"The mirror is in the back." Scorpius states, taking the cloak off. Eagerly, Albus heads to the back of the room.
In the mirror, Albus sees him and Scorpius, holding hands. Scorpius turned to him and mouthed "I love you." Just as Scorpius is about to kiss him (in the mirror), real Scorpius comes up from behind him and asks "What do you see?" Making Albus jump. He turns around.
"I saw me and - um, my crush - holding hands. He mouthed "I love you" to me. It was nice.
Scorpius felt hurt by this. Who did Albus like?

A few weeks past, and now it was November. Albus and Scorpius never mentioned the mirror again. Neither of them ever asked who the other one saw in the mirror.

"I'm going to go study with Addison and Jason, you wanna come with?" Scorpius asked his seemingly drowsy friend.
"Nah, I'm going to take a nap. Tell them I said hey."
"I'll be back in a couple hours. Bye." Scorpius says, gathering his things and leaving.
Of course, Albus wasn't actually going to go to sleep. Even if Addison had a boyfriend, he didn't trust her. He quietly got out of his bed, and he grabbed his brother's invisibility cloak, and sneakily followed behind his best friend.

All they did was study. No talking about other things. Just studying. Albus was bored out of his mind, but he stood it out for Scorpius.
After they finished studying, the decided to talk for a few minutes. It seemed like they were talking about some book.
"Speaking of love, don't you like Albus, Scorp?" Addison asks teasingly.
"Maybeeeee. Don't tell him!" Scorpius says worriedly.
"You know I would never do that." Addison says semi sarcastically.'
Meanwhile, Albus is stunned. Did Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy just admit to liking Albus Severus Potter? Albus thinks he must be dreaming. At this point, he's not even listening to the conversation.
"Well, I gotta go back up to my dormitory. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Scorpius says, quickly gathering his things.
Albus realizes what's happening, and he sprints out of the common room. He barely makes it to the dormitory before Scorpius.
"Hey Albus, I thought you'd still be napping! Why are you breathing so hard? Oh shit, are you having a panic attack? Do you need help? I can go get Madam Pomfrey!" Scorpius says all at once.
"No, I'm fine. I have an -" he pauses, thinking of the right word."idea. Let's play truth or dare." Albus says, somewhat seductively.
"Uhum, okay." Scorpius says nervously. He knows Albus isn't the biggest fan of that game.
"But -" Albus pauses again, this time for dramatic effect. "we are both going to take some Veritaserum." Albus smirks, his Slytherin side obviously dominating Albus.
"Isn't it restricted?" Scorpius gulps nervously. What the hell is Albus onto?
"Well, I have some from the potion lesson a few weeks ago." Albus says, pulling a small bottle out of his bag. "You do want to play truth or dare, right?" Albus asks, once again, seductively. why is he being like this? It's really getting to Scorpius, all he wants to do is push Albus against a wall and kiss him passionately. However, he's too scared to make such a big move.
Albus pours the Veritaserum into two shot glasses, mixing in a tad bit of fire whisky into the cup. Not enough to get drunk, but enough to release their inhibitions. He hands one glass to his best mate.
"Ready?"
Scorpius gulps. "Yes."
"Cheers!" Albus says, drinking the clear liquid. Scorpius reluctantly drinks it too.
What happens next is chaos.
