The bell rang and we all began to make our way back to class , unfortunately Jimin had a different subject to me and we had to part ways. I managed to find my way to my physics class about five minutes late. All eyes were upon me as I burst hurriedly in. The teacher introduced me to the class " I hope you will all be nice to Abi , there's a free seat down there beside Kang Younghyun".
I looked to the bottom of the room where he sat alone, and silently cursed , why me? Surely he's sitting alone because he likes it , he could pick anyone and they would gladly sit with him so why sit alone? However when I sat down beside him he turned to me " Who are you ? " he asked. I was slightly confused at first , I had literally just told him my name in the cafeteria fifteen minutes ago, I quickly realised what he was trying to do . It was a power play , he wanted to act like he didn't notice me, that he doesn't remember me. He wanted me to inquire why he doesn't so he could stare blankly, shrug his shoulders and pretend I wasn't important enough for him to notice or remember. What an ass. I managed to stop myself from expressing my anger and letting him win . " oh I'm Abi," I replied with as little hesitation as I could , "I just transferred from YG High. What's your name ?" I watched a hint of annoyance and confusion flicker across his face. I smiled at him warmly waiting for a reply , trying to hide my smugness. He was most definitely annoyed that I didn't know who he was. How could I not know the notorious Kang Younghyun and his group of friends. He quickly regained his composure, " My name's Younghyun. " He offered me his hand, " nice to meet You, Ani." I shook his hand, "Abi , and you too" I forced a smile.
Soon the class was finished , me and Younghyun hadn't spoken since the start of class however after the class he tapped my shoulder before I could leave , "Hey I'm having a party on Friday, it might be good to meet some new people you know? If you want to come, you're welcome "
I was surprised he had added me to the so called VIP guest list but I tried to hide it, " Oh I don't know , I'm really only getting settled, I'll have to think about it ," I replied as smoothly as I could. "well if you change your mind, you're welcome. You can bring a friend if you've made any yet, " he smiled. I tried to resist rolling my eyes , that last comment was meant to make me feel bad and to make me want to come to make friends , to make me feel lonely. I had encountered too many arrogant boys like him before. I smiled hiding my annoyance " Yep, I said I'll think about it." I grabbed my bag and walked away before he could say anything else
