In the midst of all the people, I saw him dance his way towards me. I almost ran away. I gulped and decided to continue dancing. When Younghyun had pushed his way towards me he bent his head down slightly and asked loudly above the noise, "Can I dance with you?" I didn't know what to do, I looked around but there wasn't really anywhere to go. He whispered in my ear this time, "Don't think of going anywhere." There was nothing I could do so I just nodded. He danced opposite me and stared at me, smiling, without a word, and even though I wanted to feel uncomfortable, I didn't, I couldn't, his eyes hunting me down felt right, felt good, even. He stepped closer to me. I bit my lip, I couldn't do this either , I couldn't like him. All the stories I had heard of him using girls and getting everything he wanted. I didn't want to be the person that fell for an ass like him but maybe he wasn't that bad. He slowly lifted his hand and went to put it on my waist. At that moment I wanted him to pull me closer, but morally, I just couldn't let it happen. I frowned at him and took a few steps back. He just stared at me confusion flickering across his face. I pushed my way back through the crowd. I looked for Jimin but she seemed busy so instead I started towards the front door. I had to get out of here.
"Abi! Wait!" I could hear Younghyun behind me. It was quieter here, in the hallway, and I could hear his footsteps getting closer. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were that uncomfortable, but could we talk for a minute please?" I turned around, "What?" Younghyun pursed his lips, "Look I don't know what it is, there's just something about you, I really like you." I sighed , "Younghyun , I've heard too much about you and I don't want to be one of your little projects, okay? Now I really want to go home." I went to grab the door handle. Younghyun called my name again. "I said no Younghyun! Just let me go!" I was surprised to hear him chuckle, " I was just going to say, I can't let you walk home like that. It's late and a Friday night and look at you, you'll be cold."  I knew he was right but I couldn't let him win, "Really, I'll be fine, my house isn't even that far away." Younghyun shook his head and laughed again. He grabbed a jacket off a hook near the door. "I don't care if you want me to or not I'm walking you home."
He pushed the jacket into my hands and reached behind me and pushed the door open. I realised he wasn't going to let up and reluctantly put on the jacket. I couldn't help but notice the faint scent of his cologne off it as we started down the short driveway. There was a heavy silence in the air as we walked down the street. The awkwardness made the walk seem far longer than it really was, but eventually we neared my house. " You're still up for Sunday right? " Younghyun broke the silence. I had forgotten completely about our project. "I guess I have to be, don't I?" I sighed. I announced that the next house was mine, I turned to him, "Could you actually make sure Jimin gets home safely? I didn't um.. get the chance to tell her I was leaving." Younghyun flashed me his stupid smile, " Of course I will," I nodded in reply and turned to walk up my drive, until Younghyun called my name once more," I know you like me, Abi, I know you do,"  he smirked and turned back up the street not even giving me a chance to deny it, and disappeared into the dark. As I walked up my drive I kept telling myself I don't like him , I don't like him, but I couldn't help but remember how close we were on the dance floor. It wasn't until I was in my room going to bed that I realised I hadn't given him back his jacket, I sighed and threw it across the room. I'll return it to him on Sunday.
