"You know that stupid dog you and Stevie found?" Duff asked me.
"Yeah I remember that. I named it Popcorn," I laughed. That was a good dog man.
"Yeah well the stupid thing won't stop following Steven everywhere and we all hate it. So you have to get rid of it," Duff commanded me.
"I'm not killing a dog!" I yelled.
"Fucking Christ! I'm not telling you to! Just make the thing go away!"
"Okay sorry. I'll see what I can do."
We had made it back to the old house where I hung out with Stevie and Slash all those times, but instead of a bunch of the band members or even some random people, Duff and I were the only ones here.
"Where the fuck is everyone?" I asked.
"No clue. Izzy doesn't live here anymore and neither does Axl. Slash and Axl are probably still at the studio. Izzy's probably getting wasted or something and Steven is probably drunk or high with strippers."
"So it's just us?"
"Yep. Now we wait I guess," Duff must've realized the situation was awkward because it sure as hell was.
"Can I be drunk too since you already are?" I asked.
"Help yourself."
I went to the kitchen and searched for my poison of choice, whiskey. I knew they had some because slash and I drank that stuff like water when we used to hang out.
"So how's the recording going?" I asked Duff as I poured myself a drink.
"Close to finished really. I think we just have some mixing and shit to do and then bam it'll be sold," Duff replied.
"That's so awesome. You guys are gonna be famous. I'm gonna make you all sign a copy of the album for me before you go off on tour or whatever bands do."
I looked through the fridge for food and then plopped down on the chair by the couch that Duff was on.
"What have you been up to? Steven hasn't talked about your guys' adventures since we started working in the studio." Duff asked curiously.
"Nothing much. Trying not to die while trying to have as much fun as possible before I do die," I replied. "And I haven't really been hanging out with Stevie so that's why."
"Did something happen between you and Steven?"
"Why are we gossiping like middle school girls?" I asked.
"We are not!" Duff exclaimed. "I'm just trying to make conversation until-"
"HELLOOOOO!" Shouted a very familiar voice.
In walked Stevie with a girl on each arm and closely following him was a very drunk Slash also accompanied by a very heavy chested woman.
"We are back and we brought you a gift, Duff!" Steven shouted.
"It looks like he's already got his own, Steven," Slash slurred and pointed at me with a bottle of Jack Daniels.
"QUEENIE I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" Screamed Steven at the top of his lungs. I thought my ears were going to fall off.
I jumped up. "I am alive and well I assure you!" I yelled back slightly less loud.
