It really is not a good idea to follow strangers inside their house, but fuck they were hot and talented. What's a girl to do in a situation like that? Plus they definitely would have booze.
I stepped inside the house and immediately my nose was attacked by a not so pleasant smell. The whole place smelled like alcohol, weed and sweat. There was also a underlying scent of pizza which made it a little more bearable. It wasn't like I hadn't been to worse smelling places.
The room was trashed with pizza boxes and empty bottles of alcohol all over. There was a couch and a chair in the middle of the room and the room opened up to the kitchen. A guy with really curly black hair that covered his face was sitting in the chair playing a guitar. Another blonde guy was laying down on the floor with his eyes closed. He might've been sleeping. He might've been dead. I wouldn't have been surprised either way.
I sat on the couch without hesitation. Steven sat next to me and the redhead went into the kitchen.
"You want anything?" he asked while walking into the kitchen.
"A beer is fine," I replied.
"I bet you're a badass drinker," Steven joked. I laughed.
"I wouldn't say badass, but beer is beer."
Steven laughed. "I didn't catch your name."
"Heidi at your service," I replied extending my hand for a handshake.
"I'm Steven," he chuckled as he shook my hand.
He smiled. I smiled. His smile was contagious. Smile is a weird word.
"And that curly haired guy over there is Slash and the guy on the ground is Duff."
Neither Slash or Duff moved, but Slash changed the song his was playing on his guitar.
"And I'm W. Axl Rose. That's A-X-L no E," said the redhead after returning from the kitchen.
He handed me my beer and handed Steven a drink as well. Axl sat down on the arm of the couch right next to me.
"You guys have some interesting names," I teased.
He laughed. "Our other guitarist is named Izzy on top of that."
"So you got left with the average name?" I asked Steven.
"Well they guys call me Popcorn sometimes," he replied.
"Popcorn?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Because when he drums his hair bounces up and down like popcorn," Axl explained.
I nodded, opened my can of beer and chugged it.
"Holy shit!" Steven exclaimed. "I knew it!" The grin on is face hadn't faded since I met him and I decided that it was my favorite thing about him.
Axl started laughing and so did I.
"I was thirsty," I shrugged with a grin matching Steven's.
"It's only 2 in the afternoon!" Axl laughed.
"Please, I don't know the year we are in, let alone the time," I rolled my eyes.
After a chorus of laughter, I heard a groan from the ground and looked at Duff.
"Shut the fuck up," he muttered from his position on the ground.
"Aw, is little Duffy Poo hungover?" Steven mocked him using a tone of voice that people used to talk to babies with.
