Biting my lip the Beast leaned forward ready to hear what I had to say. Continuing I felt the story flow from my mouth.

Belle Lora Dupont was a bit different from everyone else. While every girl her age dreamed of marrying a handsome man. Belle Lora herself did not even have the thought of love on her mind.

The only thing she loved was her Father, and traveling to new places. The thought of exploring a far off land always stole her breath away. Until she found the country of France.

Belle Lora loved this place more then any other her visited. Both of them loved it so much that they decided to stay for a longer extent of time.

But her Father's job was to achieved the impossible. An inventor is what they called him, and that he was. Making things that were strange and new.

He made money by selling these items and ideas, but the place of trade was far away. He must travel by horse, it was the only way.

Belle Lora was always sad to see her Father leave, but every time he promised to bring back the most beautiful flower for her.

But this trip would change their lives forever, because her father stumbled onto a hidden path. He would find a castle, talking objects, and a Beast.

It was said that he would have gone free if not for his one grave mistake. Because he promised his daughter the most beautiful flower he tried to take back a rose.

But this wasn't just any rose, it was the reason the prince was changed into a Beast. The Beast was angered and took the old man hostage.

What he didn't expect was Belle Lora racing to take him back. She exchanged her life for his, and this started her life at the castle.

Unlike Belle Lora first thought the castle was warm and inviting. The workers were the same, but her image of the Beast stayed constent. To her he was giant and cruel.

This didn't change until the day she escaped. The guards of the forest weren't to happy with her arrival, and planned to take her life. If it wasn't for a certain Beast saving her.

She repaid his kindness forward, promising to nurse him back to health. Through many encounters the two grew, but her feeling for the Beast were never romantic.

She planned to return to her Father, but was taken back by the Beast telling her about his affections. A feeling that Belle Lora could sadly not return.

Heart broken the Beast gave her a mirror that allowed her to look back on him at any point she pleased. Once she left she checked on him often.

But even then she never developed feelings for him, she went on to marrying the man of her dreams. She had three kids, two male and one female.

She spoiled the girl with all her heart desires, but the only thing she did the most was tell the story of the Beast. So much so that he daughter became sick of it!

But what they didn't expect was a single intrigued granddaughter. The daughter had four girls, but only one sparked a interest in the story. She loved it so much so her grandmother made her a book.

So she could always have the story within her grasp, when the old women passed she told her granddaughter to seek out the castle and the Beast. Which she chose to do.

"But I am afraid her story is yet to end." I said blinking back tears, "Your Belle Lora's granddaughter? " he asked his voice shaking. I nodded unable to meet his eyes.

"She wrote my story?" He asked once again. Nodding I sat on the floor awaiting his response. "She's gone?" "Yes she passed about a week ago." I stated clutching the book to my chest.

Closing my eyes I waited for something, but what I didn't expect was the Beast wrapping his arms around me. Pulling me close to his chest, and softly I could hear his heart beat.

Resting his head on my shoulder he whispered, "Please just for a bit." Nodding, I felt the tears land on my shoulder one by one. Clutching the back of his jacket my own vision became cloudy with tears.
