"Hyemi!" Jinjin calls out from the chair.
Sanha and Hyemi rushed up to him, "Is everything okay? How is she?"
Jinjin nodded, "She's fine. Grandma just got tired all of a sudden. Maybe it's from all the gardening she's been doing."
"Well, as long as she's fine," Hyemi smiled. "Did you call your parents?"
"Yeah, they'll be back here tomorrow morning together with your mom,"
"Noona," Sanha nudged her shoulder. "I'm going to go get something from the vending machine. Want anything?"
"No thanks, do you have coins?" Sanha nodded and walked away.
Hyemi saw a familiar figure walking towards the counter, "Is that Park Minhyuk?"
Jinjin followed her gaze. "What's he doing here?"
They walked over as soon as Minhyuk was done writing something on the clipboard, "Here you go," He said to the nurse.
"Minhyuk?" Hyemi called out to him.
Minhyuk turned around and widen his eyes as soon as he saw both of them, "Hyemi! Jinwoo! What are you guys doing here?"
Hyemi was the one who answered, "Oh, well, Jinjin's grandmother got hospitalized so me and my brother came to visit her."
"You're visiting someone, too?" Jinjin asked.
"Ah, well," Minhyuk scratched the back of his head.
Just then, a little boy about 10 years old, walked up to him and grabbed his shirt. "Hyung, I want to eat,"
Minhyuk smiled and introduced us, "This is my brother, Park Minseok,"
"Nice to meet you," Hyemi kneeled down. "I'm Yoon Hyemi,"
"Are you good friends with my hyung?" He asked.
Hyemi looked at Minhyuk then back at his brother, "Well, we are classmates."
"Minseok, why don't you get a lollipop over there?" Minhyuk said, pointing at the direction of the cafeteria. His brother happily skipped towards the canteen.
"Can you not tell anyone that you saw me here?"
"What's going on?" Hyemi asked, out of curiosity.
Minhyuk sighed, "My brother got into an accident two years ago. He comes back here often to get his medications."
Hyemi froze for a moment, "T-two years ago?"
"Yeah, the car my parents were driving got into an accident." Minhyuk explained. Hyemi was trying her best not to shake.
Jinjin noticed this and was the one who spoke up, "I'm sorry, Minhyuk. But your parents are okay, right?"
Minhyuk nodded, "They're fine, it was my brother we were worried about. He had a coma for a year but he's doing okay now."
"I- I hope he gets better, soon." Hyemi stuttered for a bit.
"Well, I better go, it's getting late. See you in school," Minhyuk bid his goodbyes and walked to the cafeteria.
Yoon Hyemi, was it you?

"Jinjin," Hyemi muttered as they walked out of the hospital. "Tell me I heard wrong,"
"Look, we aren't sure if it was really him," Jinjin answered, knowing what Hyemi meant. "Didn't you get the patient's name?"
Hyemi shook her head, "I hope our intuition is wrong because if it's right – I don't know how to apologize to Minhyuk."
Jinjin felt a trickle of rain from the sky, "Let's just get you home."

"Is it really his brother?" MJ exclaimed.
"Sshh!" Hyemi shut him up. "We promised Minhyuk we wouldn't tell,"
"But there was no kid that night," He recalled.
"Maybe we didn't remember, we were a nervous wreck back then,"
Jinjin patted Hyemi's back, "Hyemi, there were lots of accidents that happened two years ago. It was just a coincidence that his brother was one of them,"
"But still,"
MJ faced Hyemi. "There was no kid involved that night, okay? Now relax, you're ruining your make up."
Hyemi touched her face, "I haven't put any make up on."
He blinked, "Oh, well, seems like you have."
Hyemi looked at MJ in a confused manner which made Jinjin say, "Ignore him, he's just delusional. Here," He took out a chocolate bar and gave it to her.
"Oh, mom brought some home as well,"
Jinjin chuckled, "I know. I want you to give this to Eunji."
"When are you going to stop being a chicken and actually ask her out?" MJ asked, as they walked inside the school gate.
"When the timing is right," Jinjin faced MJ then looked at Hyemi. "Now, please?"
Hyemi took the chocolate from Jinjin's hands, "Fine. But you owe me this one."

"There's Hyemi," Minhyuk pointed at her as she bids her goodbye to Jinjin and MJ.
Bin pushed Eunwoo, "You talk to her,"
"No, you talk," Eunwoo said, pulling him.
Minhyuk closed his locker. "Why don't you guys talk to her, together?"
The two boys looked at each other and shook their heads, "That would seem weird,"
"Why? Because you both like her?"
Eunwoo shook his head again, "Because she likes one of us,"
"And I'm not going to stand there getting rejected if she actually picks Eunwoo," Bin replied.
"I think she likes you," Eunwoo reminisced. "Do you remember when you got hospitalized? She was looking really pale – she even stayed the night to look after you,"
Bin nodded but turned his head towards his best friend, "Yeah, but remember the time when you got into a fight with Seungwoo? She was also really pale plus she helped you bandage your wounds."
Minhyuk rolled his eyes, "Are you sure she likes one of you? Maybe MJ was playing mind games,"
"If he was, I'm so going to kill him," Bin said, stretching his arms. "Let's play rock, paper, scissors. Whoever loses, gets to talk to her first."
Eunwoo agreed, preparing to fight, "Good idea,"
"Rock, paper, scissors!" Eunwoo and Bin exclaimed, together.

"What now?" Hyemi asked, she was standing on the rooftop as he grabbed her wrist earlier. Not even listening to what she was trying to say.
"I'm sorry," Eunwoo said. "Bin and I wanted to apologize,"
"You've said it like a couple of times already."
"And we're not going to stop until you forgive us," Eunwoo walked closer towards her. Heart beating faster. "So, what do you say?"
Hyemi pushed him away, "Didn't I tell you? It was for the best,"
"What best?" Eunwoo asked. "We missed you, Hyemi. Don't you feel the same?"
"I -" Hyemi said, looking down. "I better get to class."
She bumped Eunwoo's shoulder as she walked down, tears rolling down her face, "I do," She muttered.
