"Hyemi, are you okay with this?" Mrs. Park asked as Jinjin and her told their parents what they really want.

"Hyemi!" Called out her mother. "What are you doing?"

"I don't want to marry Jinjin and he won't marry me either," Hyemi answered bluntly.

Jinjin's dad sighed and looked at their friends who were intently listening, "Kids, you can go home. We need to talk this out with Hyemi and Jinjin."

They all nodded, and proceeded to go but Jinjin held Eunji's wrist making his mom widen her eyes, "Stay here."

Jinjin faced his parents, "Mom, Dad, this is Eunji. I like her and she likes me too,"

"Jinwoo," Hyemi's mom leaned in, "You don't like Hyemi? Is there anything wrong with her? If there is, I can fix it, I know she can be a handful -"

"Mom," Hyemi made a look that says, 'Stop it'. "We just don't like each other that's all."

Mrs. Yoon turned around to the Parks, "What about the company?"

Mr. Park smiled, "Right now, I think what's important is our children's happiness, Semi."

"I agree," Jinjin's mom nodded. "We can find ways to help the company, but your child always comes first,"

"So, there's no more engagement?" Jinjin asked, grinning.

"Yes," Mr. Park announced. "We're breaking it off."

"Ahh! It feels so good to be free!" Hyemi exclaimed raising her hands.

"It feels like you just got out of prison," Sanha comments as they walk through the school gates.

Hyemi was still smiling, "It felt like prison little brother,"

Sanha chuckled and didn't see where he was going. He bumped into someone, making her books fall, "Oh, I'm sorry, here let me help you,"

Both Sanha and the girl kneeled down, when they reached the last book their hands touched, making Sanha blush.

"Wow," Hyemi said crossing her arms. "Are you guys in a drama or something?"

They stood up and fixed their uniforms. Sanha looks down, "Shinzi?"

"S-Sanha?" Shinzi stuttered. "Thank you for helping me with my books,"

"That's a lot of books," He said. "But where are you going?"

"Library, I need to return these."

"I'll help you," Sanha offered taking some of the books from her, then facing her sister, "I have to go,"

Hyemi laughed, "You guys, enjoy."

She watched as her brother and Shinzi walked to the direction of the library.

"Hey," Someone suddenly walked up beside her. It was Minhyuk, "How's my princess doing?"

"I'm not your princess, Minhyuk," She said, walking ahead of him.

"Aw, come on what's up? Jinjin and you aren't engaged anymore, so can we go out?"

Hyemi stopped walking as Minhyuk dropped the bomb. She looked around and found Bin surrounded by the sophomore girls, with another girl in his arms.

She bit her lip and faced Minhyuk, "Don't you have something better to do?"

"Yeah, going out with you. That's why I'm waiting for you to say yes,"

"Then you're going to wait a long time," She was about to walk away when he called out.

"You kissed me, you know that right?"

Hyemi quickly covered his mouth with her hands, "Why are you telling it to the whole world?! And for your information, you kissed me!"

Minhyuk removed her hand, "Are you feeling flustered?"

"No!" She exclaimed, looking away. "Let's just get to class."

"She rejected me," Eunwoo muttered as Bin and he were on the rooftop. It was lunchbreak.

Bin sighed, "So if I confess, I'm going to suffer the same fate as you,"

"That sounds more like an insult,"

"I saw her with Minhyuk earlier. She seems happy,"

Eunwoo agreed, "And with the engagement off, she can date whoever she wants. And I think its coming down to Minhyuk,"

"He's dangerous. I heard him talking to Aera the other day. They're planning something."

"Should we tell her?" Eunwoo asked. "I don't want her getting hurt,"

"I won't let that happen," Bin looked down on the field. There were guys playing soccer and girls on the track and field, "You made peace with Hyemi again, right? I want you to look out for her,"

Eunwoo looked confused, "What about you? I think she'll forgive you now and maybe -"

Bin exhaled, "No, it's fine. I'm busy with work anyway,"

"Bin," Eunwoo said as his friend look up to meet his eyes. "Why are you doing this to yourself? Why are you ignoring what you feel? We both know it, MJ does too – even the cafeteria lady knows how much you look at her. You love Hyemi more than anything else in the world. Why won't you fight for her?"

Bin was silent, not saying anything.

"Bin," Hyemi said his name for the first time after his confession.

"You don't have to accept it." Bin bit his lower lip, "Because I'm stepping back,"

"Why?"

"Because he likes you, and I don't want to ruin his chances of being with someone he truly likes,"

Hyemi muttered silently, but Bin heard it loud and clear, "But I don't like him."

"You'll learn to like him, soon." He said, fighting back tears.

Bin scoffed, "I don't deserve her. Not after what I did that day,"

"She'll understand, I know she will," Eunwoo argued.

"I don't believe that," Bin smiled. "Just look out for her, please?"
